I retained Tolin & Tolin for a speeding ticket I received after receiving a notice by mail informing me of their service. I spoke to Melinda by email and then by phone, paid $225, was assured I did not need to appear in court and was advised I would be contacted after the court date if there were further fees. A few weeks go by, and I received a notice that my license was being suspended due to failure to appear and I would need to pay several hundred dollars to prevent this from happening. After multiple phone calls and an email to the law firm with absolutely no response, I called the courthouse in my county. Thankfully, a very nice representative at the courthouse was able to communicate with the law firm and resolve the issue. My situation was handled completely unprofessionally. I still have not been contacted by Tolin & Tolin even for an apology. I understand things can slip through the cracks but as a professional myself, when you're dealing with someone's livelihood you need to be a bit more responsible. Or at the very least, return a phone call. I would not recommend using this firm at all.

Attorney Jay Tolin was knowledgeable and easy to discuss my legal matter, too. He explained the process to me. I highly recommend him and his office for your legal matters.

I personally would NOT recommend this firm to my worst enemy. It starts with the unfriendly receptionist whom brings her personal life to the workplace. The nastiness she displays, is off putting and extremely unpleasant, combative and unprofessional. She likes to argue, instead of listening and hearing the client. Additionally I would not be surprised to learn that this firm is working hand in hand to personally get kick-backs from the courts themselves. It is unfortunate this firm even exists, with the unfavorable outcomes they get for their clients. I wholeheartedly cannot state to find a reputable firm with far more experience and a pleasant receptionist and better reputation. This way you will not be screwed out of your cash and experience. I really liked the information available on their website and how it mentioned that they were compassionate and listened to the client. When I called last week, a very sweet woman answered the phone. She was knowledgeable and patience while I asked my questions reiterating the website's description of compassion and listening to the client. She was able to make an appointment for me to speak with Mr. Tolin the following week. Mr. Tolin called and was immediately personable, friendly and kind. Again, showing me that I made the right decision and that their website was correct they are compassionate and good listeners. He walked me through my situation, and I didn't feel rushed for time. He answered all of my questions and gave examples when I didn't understand something. I felt very comfortable and heard. This isn't going to be an inexpensive ordeal but I feel like it is money well spent for the peace of mind I will have that I did everything by the book, to set myself up for my new life and also get through this with grace.

I was looking for advice on how to deal with my child support situation. I called a few law offices. No luck. I finally reached out to Tolin And Tolin. The receptionist was very professional and friendly. I scheduled a time to speak with Mr. Tolin. Mr Tolin was very knowledgeable and understanding of my situation. . Speaking with Mr. Tolin was therapeutic. He was able to empathize with my situation and give sound advice.

If they'd actually call you when they say they will I'd gave em 5 stars. Other than that they deliver results just as they say they can. Retaining fee was reasonable and affordable.
