Back in May I got charged with possession and I was recommended by my uncle and real close family friend to go see Mr.Allard "Buddy" about my charges. I decided I should and I am so glad I did. My first visit with Mr.Allard I was nervous because this was my first charge, at 17 years old but he made me feel very comfortable talking to him. He told me he would try to get my charges dropped but also told me all the consequences I could get, so I could be prepared for it. My first visit with him, not only did he talk to me about my charges, he talked to me about my future and gave me advice on how to achieve it. He told me about his college experiences and the best ways to keep focused. Come my court date, I noticed he was making his rounds with the DA and other important people in the court room. Well, he walked up to me and asked to go out in the hallway. Guess what words come out?! "All your charges have been dropped". It was an awesome moment. If I were to ever recommend a lawyer, I would recommend Mr.Allard!

Buddy is the real MVP. So I got in some serious trouble and met with 4 other lawyers before I met with Mr. Allard and after I sat and talked with him I knew I was gonna hire him. He auctally cared about my story, charges, and was very personal with me. Un like every other lawyer who sugar coats everything and to them you are just another case number. Buddy cared and helped me out so much. I would recomend him to anyone he is truely a kind hearted person and is damn good at his job. They say you get what you pay for and its the truth. I'm so happy I hired buddy because without him I don't want to know where I would be right now.

Since my experience meeting Atty James Allard I've had to change my stereotypical beliefs that all Attorneys are like all politicians. I was involved in a criminal case where I was falsely accused. I felt strongly in my gut that with evidence in my innocence I could represent myself and win my case. One thing that said never to do right? But I knew it was the honest truth and i believed that would prevail. The Judge vouch on my behalf believing my testimony but after the Prosecuting Atty re buttal the judge decided to go with the PA as if it was more of the buddy system " I wont let you wont lose this one" I was distraught I was wronged by the court system! Atty Allard witnessed this and suggested me to call him. He knew what had happen and stood up for true justice! He went on to have my case dismissed. I could not think of a better atty to be represented by and I will continue to call upon his expertise in his criminal law defense practice!

Buddy Allard is not only a great attorney but a deep down good human being who cares. His knowledge of NC law, professionalism and experience in Wilmington court is worth every penny! Buddy Allard helped give me a second chance at life. I really screwed up with 15 charges in one night and he was able to get them significantly reduced. I have since changed my ways and am doing well at school and work. He views his clients as projects because he knows if one of his clients gets arrested and has to go to court again, it looks bad on his record. I would highly recommend him to anybody who finds himself in legal trouble.
