Rice Law is great! I highly recommend this firm. Communication was fantastic! They did a great job in my case!

Thankful for the people that took the time and put in such great effort to help during this difficult time. Their diligence, patience and compassion go a long way.

Clear, communicative, and straightforward about finding the best outcome of me the client, especially in trying to avoid making things messy or drawn out if at all possible (which in my case it was). Also very up front at setting expectations for how the process could go. I never felt like I was just being told what I wanted to hear, and they were compassionate but firm when pushing back on unrealistic expectations I might have had.

First the good... the lawyer will listen to you and do what you want. They won't push you or drive you to do anything you don't want to do. In that matter, it was a good experience. Now the unpleasant part... I had to send correction emails numerous times to get my separation agreement corrected. After speaking and having email correspondence with the attorney explaining what needed to go into the agreement, I would be sent an agreement that would be missing a decent amount of what we spoke about. I also had to do a decent amount of research regarding the laws that governed my military pention and provide that to the lawyer, something I would think is the lawer's part in all this. Then, to top it off, I was told that I was running out of my deposited funds because the work was taking longer than expected. In turn making me feel as if i was being charged for their mistakes. To top this off, after going into sign my agreement I was charged an additional fee of 500$ to which they could not explain. I was told, "just incase there is any more paperwork." However, I might get that back. So I was charged a "just in case" fee I suppose. I know that getting separated isn't the best experience. I will say as a solution to this, better communication, explination of events/charges, and attention to detail would improve the overall experience.

So pleased with my experience with Rice Law. I was very impressed with how my case was presented and the competency of my attorney Ms Christine Sprow! Before court she helped me to better understand how things work and helped build my confidence prior to going.
