DO NOT HIRE BRYAN SMITH!!!!!! After 3 years of EXTREMELY rare communication, rarely returned phone calls and having to BEG Bryan to literally do anything at all. I paid this firm over $13,000 for NOTHING. I got absolutely raked in my divorce, all because Bryan didn’t want to actually have to work. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

We are new residents to the state of North Carolina having relocated from San Diego California. We had the opportunity to work with Attorney Melissa Gott to update our estate documents. We were impressed with her friendly approach, professionalism, knowledge and patience working through complex questions and offering helpful guidance insuring our docs comply with NC guidelines. This was accomplished while managing costs and not reinventing the wheel in the process. We are happy with the outcome and would recommend anyone needing existing document revisions/update or new estate planning preparation.

If you DO take the chance of going here, do NOT use Bryan Smith. I literally got a better job done when I was representing myself.

I have known Melissa and her family for a number of years. Melissa is not only a top notch lawyer, but a straight forward what you see is what you get person, values that makes her trustworthy. She exhibits values of integrity, quality, highest value in care, positivity, harmony, hard work, perfection... in and outside of her office. My interactions with her office have been similar - respectful, professional, process and detailed - oriented, listeners, compassionate about their work and their clients. Everyone is 100% dedicated and responsive to each and every person who walks in the door. Her office conducted thorough research and asked relevant questions to ensure they had every bit of detail to ensure the best outcome for me. I'd recommend Melissa and her office.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I came in for a consultation to look for representation. Bryan Smith, made me feel like I was beneath him and I was wasting his time. He asked for information that I didn't feel was related to my case and told him that I didn't feel comfortable telling him because I wasn't sure if I was going to have him represent me yet at that point. And he told me that if I didn't tell him that information then he wouldn't represent me so I was like ok, we are done here and I walked out. He also told me that because I had a sister with me during my consultation that attorney-client priviledge would not apply. So I definitely was cautious about what I wanted to tell him at that point. Just bad vibes all around and I would never recommend them or ask for there representation.
