BEWARE! DO NOT HIRE ANYONE from DUMMIT FRADIN!! DO NOT retain ERICA JACKSON unless you don’t mind your identity being used on documents for others!! I had the unfortunate experience of getting a document used as a template with another clients name on it!!! They did not even have the professionalism to create a new document for my case. I not only knew what the other clients name was, but I knew the context of why they had retained ERICA JACKSON! Now I find myself in the unfortunate situation of not trusting her with my personal information. The only response I got when I explained my worry/fear that my name would be used on documents as a template for others is quote “All I can say is that I won't be using anything from your file as an example in any of my other cases.” Wait a minute, I thought you should NEVER give out ANY personal information about a client in any cases! Now she can only tell me it won’t happen to me. When I brought it to Erica’s attention that the other clients name had been divulged, she should’ve had the professionalism to let the other client know. I contacted the person myself later only to find out that they had NO IDEA she’d revealed their name to me! That being said, how can I ever trust that the same won’t happen to me. What you, as a potential client should worry about, is that your name would be revealed to other clients. I have even contacted Mr. Dummit with my concerns. No response as of yet. Erica Jackson was also slow getting anything done. I had to call and email repeatedly for updates. The responses were ALWAYS SLOW! She even apologized to me about it in person. Offered to not charge me for the rest of the correspondence pertaining to my case. Yet she says she felt she was good at getting things done in a timely manner... so why not charge me if you felt you hadn’t done anything wrong?!?! If you desire your personal information being divulged to another client and constantly reminding your attorney of things that need to be done pertaining to your case and constantly asking for updates, she’s your attorney! Edit: Note, they have yet to respond. Responded to all other reviews except mine. My next step is to report her to North Carolina State Bar via a complaint. The owners responded, what a joke!! My Issues??? I think you have issues in regards to professionalism and keeping your clients information protected!!! DO NOT HIRE ANYONE from DUMMIT FRADIN!! Especially ERICA JACKSON!! You WILL not be informed in a timely manner, they will drag your case out for more money, and they will not protect your identity!!! By the way, OWNER, your reply was quite unprofessional.

Darren Howard is an amazing lawyer. He’s passionate about each case and getting the results you need. I was attacked last year by two strangers and out of retaliation of them being charged with Simple Assault and Communicating threats had me charged with the same thing. Darren fought along with the witnesses to prove I was an innocent victim and was confirmed by a judge that I was the victim and not guilty. My attackers were found guilty. Then Anastasia stepped in to expunge my record of these false charges and clear my name. I’ve never been in trouble with the law not even a speeding ticket, so to have my name and reputation tarnished by my attackers I wanted my good name restored as this has been the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to me. She did this for me. I’m now completely cleared of this wrong. It is a shame that innocent victims have to expunge our records and pay when we’ve been wronged out of revenge but this law firm was worth it. I will always use this law firm, Mr Howard and Anastasia for any more needs I might have, hoping not though.

I don’t usually write reviews but I felt the need to leave one in this case. Clarke Dummit represented me in two separate cases, and I have no doubt that the outcome was the best possible solution that could have been reached. I always had direct communication with Clarke himself which is certainly not the experience I’ve had with any other attorneys in his field. If I ever had a question for him or the team I would have an immediate response within an hour or two. I knew I was in very capable hands from the initial meeting I had with him and the team. Clarke has gone above and beyond what was expected to take care of me and my case! Don’t look any further. You have your man!
