John Wait is by far the best attorney I have ever had! My driving history is EXTENSIVE and I have had MANY attorneys over the years, but HANDS DOWN he is the best. I never set foot in the courtroom always a huge plus, he got it put off for me until I could pay his very reasonable fee and got my DWLR dismissed.. I had a fine to pay for my other offense which I overlooked, and TWO years later I call to see if I can get the file number . He answered the phone Hi Charlotte.. I was floored, this man cares enough about his clientele to store them by name!!!! WOW!!! Pulled everything up I requested. That quality alone is unheard of with lawyers, most dont have a clue who you are. I wish I could use him in every county!!!! I dont just highly recommend him, I say call him period. Dont wait call Wait, haha made a funny.

Bill Gifford and Will Martin have been a huge resource for me over the years. If there is a situation that needs input and attention, they have always offered timely and thorough information needed to make sure I am handling all situations with integrity. Martin & Gifford help me focus on correctly doing the legal, ethical and morally right things. This day and age, I don't see how anyone in the Real Estate business in North Carolina could go without having a good working relationship with Martin & Gifford. They are leaders and problem solvers on what's going on within the Real Estate industry today. They are the "go to" firm when needing NC Real Estate industry specific advice. I am a Realtor that has been in the business for a little over 12 years, and I never thought I'd ever be in a situation where I'd need an Attorney... well, the saying is true that "if you've been in the business long enough someone will make a complaint about you" happened to me. I had a past client file a claim against me to the Real Estate Commission. I hired Bill Gifford to help me out with the case and he exceeded my expectations and I only received a reprimand in a case that normally I would have gotten a suspension. I would highly recommend the Martin and Gifford Law Firm!!

Highly recommend John Wait. He was incredibly responsive and delivered a great outcome in handling my out-of-state traffic citation, while doing so at fees significantly less than fees advertised by other attorneys. I received a speeding ticket while driving through North Carolina from Florida. As an out-of-stater, my options were seemingly limited to paying the $200+ fine and accepting the license points and increased insurance premiums. I called several other attorneys in North Carolina to learn about my options and gauge costs for hiring an attorney. While I waited for the other attorneys to return my call, John answered my call directly and provided a clear picture of my options within a few minutes. He appeared for me in traffic court and successfully reduced the traffic citation to a non-moving violation with NO LICENSE POINTS OR INCREASED INSURANCE PREMIUMS.

Kerri has been excellent, thorough, responsive, truly all that one could ask for when dealing with difficult contract issues. She helped me to navigate my dispute with a company and has never faltered. Straight-forward and refreshingly honest her skill and expertise are top notch and I would gladly recommend her to anyone. I was involved in a traffic matter, and the worst case scenario could have been disastrous to me. I contacted Wait Law through their website, and John Wait contacted me the next day. He explained the worst thing that could happen, and then told me it wouldn't. And it didn't. John got things reduced, dismissed, and worked his magic with the court system so my result was something I didn't even believe was possible. I really appreciated his willingness to communicate via email, so my co-workers weren't an audience to my issues. I don't want to ever need a lawyer again, but if and when I do, it will be John Wait.

I was referred to Mr. Wait by a co-worker to deal with an employment law case that was very time sensitive. I called on a Tuesday morning and received a call back from Mr. Wait personally within two hours. I not only appreciated his expediency but also his willingness to listen to the situation before giving me a recommendation on how to handle it. I would absolutely refer anyone to Mr. Wait due to the professional excellence and also because he was actually invested enough to personally pull for me.
