Every attempt at trying to fight for my disability failed. I had tried and it was like talking to a wall. The process crawled by with no one really caring, or at least that is what it felt like to me. VetLaw and my Attorney, Brendan Garcia picked up my case almost immediately. I was honorably discharged from the USAF in 1986 after serving 14 years. When I was discharged I applied for service connected disability compensation for various SC health issues, including for my heart. I had open heart surgery while in the military at the age of 25. My compensation claim was disapproved as it was each year after that. From 1986 to 2014 I had disapproval after disapproval for SC compensation. In 2014, I met attorney Brendan Garcia of Veteran's Disability Law Firm. After about one hour he told me I had valid claims for SC disability compensation and if I would give him approximately three years he believed he could get me 100% for my heart.
