The VA kept coming after my highest rating illegally and unlawfully for 3 years in a row of continual C&P evals. I finally submitted two congressional inquiries requesting to be seen by actual specialists that could evaluate my condition in the VA system despite the fact my civilian physician evidence was overlooked but the VA denied my request and downgraded my condition that was >5 years from 50% to 0%. Again, this was done without proper evaluations and they claimed i improved without any material improvement. As a matter of fact, my condition actually declined but they have recently downgraded hundreds of thousands of veterans' ratings willy-nilly without following federal code. I honestly believe a Congressional investigation into the VA rating system should occur since they are violating our rights! I reached out to several attorneys and was finally accepted by VetLaw! Mr. Brendan Garcia and his assistants were eager to help my appeal and were very helpful and communicated throughout the process that almost spanned 3 years after the VA downgraded my rating. The BVA granted in my favor and I honestly believe VetLaw was the force multiplier in this decision! Attorney Kester helped me with a very difficult case while most other attorneys neglected to even return my call. Not only was my case difficult and challenging but I had to have ankle fusion surgery right at the beginning and was non-weight bearing for over 10 weeks unable to walk, much less drive and when I needed to have my signature notarized he arranged for it to be done online via zoom.
