Vanessa Berge helped me through the most stressful time in my life, when my 8-year-old's bio-dad (who was willingly absent for my child's entire life) suddenly appeared to prevent my husband from adopting my child. Vanessa went above and beyond, answering my worried emails and phone calls with patience and compassion. She genuinely cared for my whole family, and she was incredibly thorough in her work. She is also a very ethical person who will give you straight answers. She even wrote my son a nice letter when we won our adoption case :)
