Having never been in legal trouble I was very nervous and didn’t know what to expect. Prior to retaining Lindsey I tried to work with the DA on my own and was getting nowhere and felt like I was not being listened to. Once I retained Lindsey he put me at ease and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He made it feel like I was talking to “one of the guys”. Lindsey kept me informed and was able to negotiate an agreement when I thought I’d be stuck with a blemish on my record forever. Thanks Lindsey!

I originally hired a different lawyer for my DUI/DWI charge where I blew 0.168, twice the limit. The consequences for that are 2 days in jail or 20 hours of community service and a fine. He got me a plea deal to get the jail time/community service dropped but I would still get a DUI/DWI... not a great deal being I would still get the DUI/DWI on my record. I had a feeling my first lawyer was not fighting for me so I went to Lindsey's office. I went to his office and told him my story. He believed we had a good chance to get the DUI/DWI charge lessened to reckless driving so I hired him right away being I was crunched for time. I gave him the DVDs and CDs the officers used while arresting me and he looked them over and got back to me a week or so later. He then told me we have a decent chance of changing the charge depending on how the prosecutor feels when he goes to try and negotiate with her. I'm not sure how the negotiating went but I got a call later with some great news, the DUI/DWI charge was being lessened to a reckless driving charge. I still had to do community service (only 20 hours), take an evaluation, and pay a fine of $1500, however, I will not be charged with a DUI/DWI. Lindsey Haugen is the man. I highly recommend hiring Lindsey Haugen for a DUI/DWI charge.
