Super easy to work with and did a fantastic job!

I reached out to Nathan Severson in 2016 to get a consultation for what I believed was a medical malpractice issue that happened to me. It turned out it was and after meeting with Nathan, I immediately decided that I wanted him to represent me. Throughout the whole process I was always informed of what was happening, what’s already happened and what will happen along with extremely accurate time estimates. If I ever had a question, I knew I would get a quick response. Really, I had 3 people I knew I could rely on - Nathan, Tara and Ali. Tara being the other attorney and Ali being the paralegal. I didn’t get to speak much with Tara until we went to trial but she’s incredibly nice and intelligent. Throughout the time before trial, I probably talked with Ali the most and she’s so sweet and knowledgeable on literally everything it felt like. Nathan is someone who, ya he wants to win because it’s his job but more than that you’ll feel that he wants YOU to win which makes you feel powerful. He’s a genuinely good person which in the end that’s who we all want to fight for us, right? Someone who believes in you and who wants justice when a wrong has occurred. Medical malpractice lawsuits are no joke and I can’t imagine how lost I would’ve been had I not had such an amazing team working for me. No one wants to go to trial but sometimes that’s just what you have to do and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else up there telling my story for me. For all 3.5 years I was reminded that every decision was my own. I could say no. I could say yes. I could come up with my own things that I wanted done. But I almost always felt more comfortable just asking for advice and following Nathan’s lead. I trusted everything he had to say and I’m glad I did. At trial I felt like I had the smartest people ever standing up for me against some mean bullies who just want to shut you down and destroy you. If I ever have another legal issue come up (and I truly hope I don’t) Severson, Wogsland and Liebl will be who I reach out too. Maybe this review was a little long but really I could’ve made it so much longer. I’ll never be able to truly describe how grateful I am to Nathan, Tara and Ali.

Greg Liebl represented us for the adoption finalization process of our daughter. He was very thorough, responsive and expedient throughout the entire process. We would recommend Greg to any other adoptive family seeking legal counsel.

Benjamin Freedman has represented me 2 times in a period of less than 2 years, both in regards to child support modifications brought forth by the non custodial parent. As the adult child of a now retired Minnesota Family Law Attorney, Ben was faced with the additional pressure of not only having me as a client but also "living up to the high expectations" that my father has for attorneys that are now practicing law. I had the pleasure of working with Alexis Doree, whom was the ideal attorney. Personable, and easy to talk to as well as took the time to understand my needs. She helped me modify my child support obligation to reflect my current circumstance, and really understood that I did not have money to spend on attorneys and fighting in court. I reached out to this law office after the state of North Dakota Child Support office proved to be ineffective and a waste of time in addressing my modification. Alexis took my case, and made me feel like a priority. She was great at communicating and providing me with cost effective methods to approach my situation. She kept in touch and was easy to reach when I needed answers. I've dealt with many different lawyers and in different states, in the last 8 years, and can say she was by far one of the best I've had in my corner.

Jesse Maier handled my wife and family estate planning/ will. Could not have been a more positive experience. He made all parts of the process very understandable and easy to navigate. He was more than willing to go into as much detail as we needed to make the appropriate choices for our estate. The entire process was painless!! Very reasonable fees. Could not recommend more highly!

I hired an attorney named Luke Heck from sw&l in late 2017 paid him the 10k he asked for and didn’t NOT proceed with the case. He helped to a certain extent. He asked for letters and phone numbers from people we knew. He never used those letters and he never bothered to call them. Also, as an attorney he should’ve told my family that an interpreter was needed he never mentioned or brought one along. Then, in June 2018 I received a phone call from another attorney at this firm saying Luke had left to another firm and could not represent X person anymore. He didn’t even bother to call or email us to let us know he would no longer be there. Ten thousand dollars down the drain. Very upsetting.

Our company, Golden Path Solutions, is a unique company in that we offer a lot of services to a wide range of customers, requiring unique agreements. We have a software solution requiring a license agreement, services we provide employers that act similar to a consulting engagement, and agreements we offer around work commitments and tuition reimbursement. We've been using Severson, Wogsland & Liebl, and specifically Jesse Maier to help with some of these. Jesse's been able to accommodate our needs in a timely way, understands our business and what we're trying to achieve, and understands our customers and what they also will need in terms of contract language. We've been able to move forward at a fast pace due to Jesse and his team's support. I'd highly recommend them for this kind of work, and we plan on using them for future contract guidance as we continue to grow.
