My experience as one of First Court's mock jurors was in all respects positive and enjoyable. The session was handled professionally and it went smoothly considering all the difficulties in planning and implementing a multi-person, online event. I would definitely do this again.

First Court pays ordinary citizens to listen to and give their opinion and feedback on an actual case that may or may not be brought trial in the future. They do this to get a feel for how the case might turn out if it were actually tried in court. You get paid to watch a summary of both plaintiffs and defendants, and answer specific questions about each aspect of the case. You will not actually be deciding on the fate of anyone in the case. If you're sitting around playing Candy Crush during this pandemic, you could instead be making money doing something productive like this. On the same day, literally hours later, you will find their payment to you in your Paypal account. It's interesting, important, lucrative and most of all legitimate. This is the first time i've worked with First Court and I will definitely apply again if they'll have me.

This was the second time I have participated in the private trial, although it was the first one with First Court. Everyone whom I had contact with was highly professional, intent on providing a good quality and value for their clients, as well make the participants felt appreciated and provided with necessary information. Both Teresa and Ryan were very responsive whenever I had a question. I called on Ryan's phone, that he kindly provided, and he picked up after the first ring. As a juror, what I really appreciated, was the fact that all attorneys' statements were recorded. That meant that while forming my opinion about the case, I could go back and listened again, and it gave me plenty of time to take notes. Also, I really liked that they give 24 + hours to finish the project, so I could pace myself at my discretion, which is great. Yes, it took me much longer than I originally anticipated, however, I felt that the quality of my contribution as a juror was of the highest quality. During the other trial, the attorneys presented their cases live, which made it impossible to go back or take necessary notes. I would not the live presentations nearly as effective as the recorded ones. Therefore, my recommendation for the attorneys is to use First Court. Their methodology and people are first class!

I enjoyed listening and reading to the witnesses and attorneys. Made me stop and think and use my analytical skills. I wish I could have participated in the discussion the 2nd day but wasn’t notified until it was too late. Would definitely serve again
