Barb is magical. I cannot sing her praise enough. I don't like standing in front of a judge but when she's there I have the best working for me! Always prompt returning calls and lovely staff, it's good all around.

I was charged with a high tier OVI. Was scared as hell of the consequences. Hugh McDaniel made everything very easy to understand and smooth in the court proceedings. He did a thorough investigation of the incident and put together a supression based on all the evidence he found was wrong such as the bac machine itself, the officers video of the incident, the sobriety test. Every angle. I walked away with a plea deal and only got a Physical Control charge with no points on my license and fines! Highly recommend retaining Mr. McDaniel to anyone.

Mr. Ashton was appointed by the court for me and not sure what he even did for me. He rarely took my calls. He rarely spoke up for me in court. He wouldn't even look at or hear any evidence I had to refute charges against me. I hope he's a better paid attorney because he didn't do anything to help me in any way

Unfortunately I didn't have the best experience and ended up having to part ways and rehire another lawyer. I'm not sure if she already had too many cases already when she took my case or if she assumed that I was young, this is my first divorce, and wouldn't know what was going on but she didn't communicate well with me at all. Starting off with her was okay. It wasn't long though before she just ignored practically every time I reached out which wasn't much. Most of the time it was because I didn't know what was going on and she didn't explain things to me most of the time. After a while I could only find out was going on with my case by actually visiting the summit county website or when I got an email as a third copy from my husband's lawyer. Oh, but I definitely would hear from her when funds were dry which I wouldn't know about until the last minute.... NEVER a week or two weeks in advance. I never knew when I would be getting a bill but they were coming. Almost everything began to be so inconsistent after a while it made the divorce that much more stressful. So if you decide to go with her be sure to ask how often will you respond to my emails or phone calls/voicemails? How often do you send invoices out and how much in advance will I receive notice prior to the bill? Hopefully you'll have a better experience and I hope this helps for anyone who is in having a hard time with their divorce.
