George Patrick Montgomery knows his way around the court room he's an excellent attorney in Clermont county Ohio circuit Court . George has represented me and my family on 3 DUI's. My (first in 10 second life) I had served 20 days in a alternative sentencing program. I had also had my bond revoked due to unclean urine even after tying my attorney's hands he was still able to get me a fair shake. My other family member had ( 3 DUIs in life) this was her ( second In 10 year), he truly went to bat for her even visiting her in jail to comfort her, he was able to get a just sentence. Out come no jail time all house arrest & program's. My oldest family member situation had been a bit different he was on felony probation facing another OVI George was able to get 44 time served with an additional 16 days. This case however is not completely over. However everyone's case is a bit different. I Say if you're stuck in Clermont county George is willing to work with you financially and assure you will have a fair day in court with this man .. Many thanks from the Woods Family !!GEORGE MONTGOMERY!!

Hired Mr. Montgomery to defend a DWI. I told him the drug test given immediately after arrest would be clean. He gave me the cost of his representation and I met with him and paid the fee. He said he would obtain and share dashcam video when he got it, enter a motion to have the ankle monitor removed and find out if driving privileges were suspended or not. He did none of what he promised. He did not return calls. Prior to the court date, he sent mail requesting additional payment, to be paid before "jury trial." He also wanted to hire an expert to interpret the drug results, to cost a couple thousand more. I refused to pay anything more than our initial agreement. In court, the judge dismissed the case due to lack of evidence. I'm not even sure if that was the actual "trial" before the judge, because Mr. Montgomery did not meet with me or explain anything. Do NOT hire this man to represent you.

Couldn’t have asked for more comfort in knowing that this man had me from day one! Never had I been in this type of situation and truly was scared beyond belief! I had no clue what was going to happen and where things would end up... George gave me confidence in this fight and assurance that he had it all under control! It was a pleasure working with this firm and I couldn’t be any more satisfied with the outcome! Thank you, George for guiding me every step of the way and defending and proving my innocence!

George Montgomery was very professional and good to my son when he was struggling through a hard time in his life. George took time to meet with us as a family and with our son to help him with his criminal charges. He even met with us in the evenings to work around my schedule because I am a driver. He is a good man who cares about his clients. My son felt like he was in good hands and I will tell everyone how great he was. I hope my son is past those hard days but we will always call this lawyer if something happens in the future. Good man.

I was a client of this attorney till firing him for incompetence. He drug my case out for a year and ruined my chances at having my case suppressed by not siting Arizona vs. Gant 556 U.S. 332 (2009). A United States Supreme Court decision holding that the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution requires law enforcement officers to demonstrate an actual and continuing threat to their safety posed by an arrestee, or a need to preserve evidence related to the crime of arrest from tampering by the arrestee, in order to justify a warrantless vehicular search incident to arrest conducted after the vehicle's recent occupants have been arrested and secured. I even told him to site this and he still chose not to. Also he did not secure the video evidence from the grocery store that I was arrested at stating that there would be no audio despite the fact that it would of shown I was held unlawfully and my vehicle searched illegally without consent. By the time I fired him a year later it was to late to secure this video since the store only holds video for a months time. Also he would not return calls after calling every day for an entire month some times so very poor communication. And when George did represent me for my suppression hearing he did not file the motion to do so till the day we went to court and was only a paragraph long request to suppress for unlawful search and seizure. I had other lawyers tell me that this was the weakest effort they had ever seen put forth by a lawyer in any case in their lives. George also told me that the only plea bargain on the table was to have my misdemeanor charges dropped and I had to ask him five times to even get that as a answer as he insisted he told me four times prior but really never gave me a clear answer once. Had I not fired him I would of gone to prison for 3-5 years for a first offense no priors. George had informed me that the prosecutor would not even consider treatment in lieu of conviction as well, yet once I fired him and replaced him with a much better lawyer I was able to get treatment in lieu of conviction thus proving his power of pull with the courts and his desire to work for his clients. Most annoying of all was that he never was on time for court (as late as two hours once) except for one time I told his office worker to make sure he was there on time for once, and he gave me a huge attitude for that as well. And most unsettling and insulting he was extremely hostile by screaming in my face in his waiting room when a relative of mine had asked him if he was competent to handle criminal cases since his specialty is Social Security. Once he knew I had all I could of his poor representation from everything listed above he further tried to beg me to not let him go with further lies of having a plea bargain in the works, when two days prior he refused to call the prosecutor to work on one. When I asked his office for at least a partial refund for his poor services rendered they tried to scare tactic me as well saying I was trying to blackmail him somehow by presenting them with the services I had received. Lesson learned hire the best from the start rather then throwing away $4500 and having your case handled poorly. Had I looked for a better lawyer maybe I would of been done with my case a year earlier and not had to spent another $6500 on treatment for an illegal search and seizure in first place.
