This will be a long review, but it’s worth the read if you’re trying to find a good defense attorney. I contacted Jim to help with my juvenile sons case. The cops came and arrested my son at 3am on a Saturday and wouldn’t tell me what was happening. I called a couple attorneys and had basically hired a guy (we won’t mention him, but he wasn’t great at communicating). I informed Jim that I had hired someone, and his reply was that he would be praying for my son and he sent me some bible verses that really spoke to what a mighty God we serve. He also offered to go meet my son on a Sunday to pray with him and make sure he knew not to talk to anyone until we could better understand what he was being charged with. All this was AFTER I told him I had already hired a different attorney. I think you can guess that I was so impressed with Jims kindness that I hired him immediately. It wasn’t long before we found out the charges against my son could land him in prison for a very very long time, and they wanted to charge him as an adult. Jim communicated with me as he sorted through the discovery, and layer by layer he uncovered the TRUTH. Jim wasn’t going to allow the system to swallow up a young black man that in no way took part in the crimes listed against him, and he worked diligently to make sure my son wasn’t a casualty of our law enforcement’s negligence. I should have never needed an attorney, but I would hire Jim again without hesitation.
