Several years ago as a college student, I went to Howard with my first idea for an invention--I even brought my "homemade" prototype I threw together the previous night, which was not pretty by even the most modest standards. As I sat in the lobby holding my taped/glued together "prototype," I was ready to get laughed at; but that was not what happened. Howard has now successfully attained several VERY strong patents for me regarding my idea, which has led to me attaining a licensing agreement, high-profile partnerships, and successful VC fundraising to start a manufacturing business around my now protected idea; deals which Howard also helped me negotiate and close. Today, Howard continues to help our company with IP acquisition and merging, global IP expansion, as well as defending our IP from infringement.
