Mr. Bartlett is the epitome of a lawyer who should not be trusted. He did not listen to any of my wishes regarding my divorce (I wanted shared parenting and minimal child support as my exhusband and I do not hate each other). He even went so far as to call me "stupid" for not wanting maximum child support. I'm submitting my itemized bill to the Bar for review of excessive billing. He charged me 12 hours to write a standard separation agreement, and that's just one of many examples of how he padded his hours. While my husband's lawyer charged him $1200 to do the exact same amount of work, Mr Bartlett charged me over $5000.
