I am writing this review so that others will not make the same mistake I did. This man is one of the most condescending, faceitious and awkward individual I and my family have ever met. He was no where near compassionate or understanding. He gave off a weird vibe and if you're looking for a decent price, look elsewhere. Chuck treated myself and my family like we were un-intelligent and lacked common sense. Just because someone has a brush with the law doesn't mean they should be treated with such disrespect. I will say that he knows his stuff on DUI law and the case turned out in our favor as best it could but I would choose differently if I could go back. I hope others take this advice to heart and make a better choice in their representation than I did.

I had a DUI charge and we were able to get it reduced to a Physical Control. This was my first offense. Chuck was able to explain everything that seemed confusing and worked with me on payment however I feel he is a bit pricey as I still paid for a lot of things with this situation on top of his price. Regardless of how much I have paid out, it was my fault it happened and he was able to assist in the time frames allotted.

If you are unfortunately in need of an attorney for a serious charge like OVI or DUI . Chuck is just the fellow you need. He is very kind, but don't mistake kindness for weakness. He is a powerful force working for you. He will always take you call and listen and advise. When we were in court you could see that he is highly respected . He will fight for you to get the best outcome possible. You know from the start what may happen and how he can help you. There is not enough words to say how safe and how well cared for we were in his very capable hands. Thank you Chuck we are very very grateful for all you did for our son. He can move forward with his life without worry or problems you fought to the end for him.. THANKS again..

I got my 3rd OVI charge with a refusal (high tier) in July of 2017. Chuck did an excellent job throughout the whole process. A 3rd OVI charge is no joke and the punishment for it can be extreme. Chuck was able to mitigate the damage to a very manageable situation for me. I had recently got promoted and expected to move out of state during all of this. Chuck was able to work out an incredible deal that enabled me to continue moving forward with my career and my life. This guy will work some magic for you!!

Attention Veterans! If you're a veteran Chuck is the man to see! He can put you in touch with the Veteran's Justice Outreach program(VJO). The work and results he got for me was excellent! Even the rep from VJO was impressed! As far as the price, you get what you pay for and the money Chuck saved me was well worth hiring him. Thanks Chuck!

Daniel L Webb and Staff, Thank you all again for patiently walking me through each step of my successful SSA benefits case. The time lines you gave me with the results we could expect, ended up very accurate. I’m very pleased with the whole experience and outcome. Without your help and personal interest in me and my case, it would of not been possible. Thanks for your professionalism, Sincerely, AndyB

A late review but he help me win my social security disability hearing appeal back in 2021. I had the most difficult judge ever with a very low approval rate. He listens to your issues and concerns. He helped presented a good case for me during my hearing and won my case.

Daniel is a charismatic, smart, diligent, knowledgeable, and hard working attorney. When Daniel speaks, people listen; he doesn't mince words, and knows the right things to say and when to say it to win your case. Additionally, Daniel is very understanding and compassionate to what his clients are really going through, and actually listens. He is not the type of attorney that pushes you off to work with a paralegal, Daniel personally works closely one-on-one with his clients. He was able to navigate the ins and outs of my case, with my very rare and hard to understand disease, to successfully winning my case. Daniel is truly an amazing attorney, and he has all the traits, charastics, and skills you could possibly want from an attorney. Trust that you will not be disappointed if you decide to hire Daniel to represent you!

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Cincinnati, Ohio?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
