I unfortunately was the victim of criminal identity theft from a close family member. This led to there being, unknown to me, a past criminal conviction on my record and there was also unknown to me, a warrant out for my arrest and a pending criminal case against me.
I had not needed a Criminal Lawyer before and did not really know where to turn. I found Ashley through this site and she contacted me the very next day. Ashley always kept me informed as to how my case was proceeding. She was also willing to answer my endless questions and also put up with a client that was confused and heart broken from the betrayal of a close family member, as well as scared and shocked that this kind of mistaken identity could even happen in our Justice System.
I had never been arrested or booked or gone through that process before. Ashley let me know that she would be there to help me through that process if it was needed. However, Ashley was able to keep me from having to go through that process or even need to show up for a court appearance for the mistaken criminal charges. Ashley worked well with the Prosecuting Attorneys and guided me through the legal system to get these charges dropped and expunged from my record.
I am very thankful to Ashley for her help with this matter and would Highly recommend her to anyone that needs a Criminal Attorney.

For a criminal defense Lawyer in Kentucky and Ohio, You won't find anyone better than Ashley Witte Dawson. I was facing a life changing sentence attached to 3 robbery charges( with priors) and 2 of the cases were slam dunks for the prosecution and Ashley and her partner Adam worked on the reduction of chargers when obtaining a plea agreement and then charismatically and compassionately went through all the special circumstances regarding the case when arguing for a reduced sentence. I ended up getting 5 years probation instead of 10-20 years in prison and they even helped me recover all my property including my brand new vehicle that the police tried to seize. What seemed like a impossible hole (that I could never climb out of) is now a new lease on life that I will never take for granted again. I have Ashley and Adam , a great Judge , my family and God himself to thank for this new life. Thank You all so much -Todd

Harvey Richman’s response to Google plus review:
This office has noted a single negative review on this website written by Dr. Stephen Ebert, DC of Eastside Chiropractic in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Ebert was not our client. He was the chiropractor for a number of individuals who were involved in an automobile accident in July 2011. We took over the case, after their former attorney was not permitted to practice law. Because it was a very minor impact and all of the clients admitted that the only reason they were treated by Dr. Ebert was because of the insistence of their former attorney, the need for treatment by Dr. Ebert was in serious question. All attempts at settling their claims initially failed, so we were required to file a lawsuit. After the suit was filed, we were able to settle the claim and pay each of the clients directly. Although the work we did for these clients involved a great deal of time and expense, we took no fee whatsoever for our work and did not charge for expenses. Similarly, we did not feel that it was appropriate for Dr. Ebert to receive a fee at the time the case was settled. We were not in contract with Dr. Ebert and our clients were aware that there was a serious question of the necessity of his treatment, a situation which would be adverse to the case. Our primary interest was always with our clients. We regret that Dr. Ebert was not able to be paid, but we do feel we did what was proper under the circumstances and in the best interest of our clients. For more than 20 years, this office has strived to satisfy our clients whose satisfaction is our highest goal. We shall continue to do so, and invite you to call us if you have the need. Harvey A. Richman, Attorney.

Leah Spivey was in a traffic accident on April 5, 2014.
She was perfectly fine when she settled the case in July, 2014. She was aware from the onset that she had to pay an attorney’s fee and healthcare expenses from the total settlement.
In order to serve her best interest and to her satisfaction, I reduced my usual fee and waived all the case expenses that I incurred. She received more than her medical expenses and attorneys fees.
It is interesting that 4 years after the full settlement to her total satisfaction, she has placed a negative impression of our work. I do not understand why she now believes that she was to receive the entire amount of settlement without having to pay any of her attorneys or medical care costs as she had agreed. She has never contacted this office to explain any dissatisfaction.
We pride ourselves in assuring that our client’s interest comes first and that they are satisfied with any settlement.
