In 2003 Barry and his team served my family after an auto accident, results from his team's work was wonderful! Now in 2019 we had another not at fault accident and the other insurance company stepped in and was really positive and supportive. Process was extremely smooth, until settlement time came. See we went to the ER to get checked out the night of the accident, then followed up with Chiropractic care. The insurance company agreed to pay the chiropractic treatment nearly in full and it was an easy settlement. The ER bill of $4,900 they offered only $1,800 to settle. The hospital refused the offer insisting on payment in full. The insurance company said they are only responsible to pay the reduced "adjusted amount." Spoke to Barry today and he explained why this is and the loophole the insurance company is trying to play. This will stiff us and leave us to pay the remainder of this bill out of pocket, for 4 people! If we would have called Barry when it first happened we wouldn't be in this spot and would have been well protected. Seriously, don't get screwed by the overly nice insurance adjusters that are just trained and specialized social engineers. For us to fight the insurance company and get them to pay the full amount would not cost us more than what it would cost to just pay the difference of the bills.
