After having several attorneys review my LTD claim that had been denied, only to have them tell me I did not have a strong enough case, I was fortunate enough to locate Attorney Claire Bushorn. Claire definitely has a firm grasp on ERISA. I also appreciated the fact that Claire would come to me with updates, give me her opinion, provide options and allow me to ask questions, but at the end of the day, it was up to me as to how I felt most comfortable proceeding. Had I not met Claire, I truly feel by this point I would have become so frustrated that I would have shredded the file and walked away. Having the misfortune of experiencing health issues so severe that I could no longer work, only to be denied benefits at every turn, was an awful experience to say the least. Claire was my light at the end of the tunnel in regards to my LTD benefits.
