Ed represented my son in a dissolution involving two small children. He was paid approximately $7000 to do essentially nothing. He didn't defend or fight for my son and grandsons and even billed him for hours spent straightening out an error he made in regards to child support that he never fixed; his new attorney resolved the issue. If you're thinking about hiring Edwin for your case, read this carefully and be prepared. My experience with Edwin L Vardiman has been that he's a great a salesman but not so much of a good lawyer. He gives a free one-hour session where he gives you all his energy and focus to solve your problem, and that's all to persuade you to hire him. That first session was about the last helpful conversion I had with him. Once I hired him and paid the couple thousands dollars retainer fee, it was always chasing him and not being able to get a hold of him or talk to him because he was "too busy". Still he was very on-time with sending a bill for several thousands dollars every month. Not sure what I was paying for, but I was definitely not getting anything out of it. I sent him documents that were needed for the process, he did not review and use them for the calculations needed to settle the case, yet he charged a fee for every single document. I had to send out multiple emails and push him very hard to get any tiny bit of help and answer to my questions. And when I got answers, they lacked specific details I was asking for and were not helpful. My other observation was that, he tends to make the case more complicated than it actually is so he can continue to bill. Overall, it was a rip off!! (I'm posting this review under a different name so I can stay anonymous while helping other not incur the loss I did)

My child was kidnapped essentially from me. The police were violating all mt righta would jot intervene after montha of fighting and not giving up edwin was able to get my child home to us yesterday after MANY phone calls and HOURS at the court and police stations he was not giving up we were not leaving without the police recovering my daughter he did not giving up even after the courts were not wanting to listen to us and keep continuing he still was able to get her before the court date so thankful great work he is the BEST!!! Would not have my daughter whom is 2 today without him!

Edwin helped me in my small claim case a few years ago. He was very professional and did a very good job with very fair charge. Last week I approached him for my another case. Although he is not licensed in my state, he still patiently provided some very helpful analysis and critical points. I appreciate his professional way to communicate with me in timely manner and provided some very helpful information without charge.

We were so lucky to find Ed. He helped us through a very sensitive case caring about every last detail until the end. He came to court prepared all 100 times we had to be there. He made it so our kids were safe and well taken care of. He is a godsend really.

I had Mr. Vardiman several years ago in my custody cases. He was very nice and very professional. He got me the results I wanted exactly. I highly recommend him.

He was good about scheduling meetings around our work scheduled, but after I retained him, there was almost no communication and he showed up for court late. I think he was hung over. He was ok in the court room after he showed up, but sometimes I had to harass him to get answers to my questions. Also, a letter he sent to my ex wife had typos and grammatical errors and misinformation. I'm sure the letter was not taken seriously.
