If you are looking for an attorney with extreme knowledge, professionalism and compassion, I recommend Andrew Brasse. He along with the staff of Barr, Jones and Associates LLP were very friendly and made sure I maintained a clear understanding of the process. Mr. Brasse took excellent care of me. The process to file was quick & easy with just one meeting. The papers then being filed. Classes completed. Court Date. Completion! If any questions did come up he always got back to me within 24-48 hours, but usually within 24 and ALWAYS said that if you need anything, please don't hesitate to reach out to the office. If I ever need services in the future, I will definitely look towards Mr. Brasse @ Barr, Jones and Associates LLP in Cincinnati! I also do not want to forget Kyle, Mr. Brasse's Paralegal. He also worked diligently with me to make sure I was notified of important deadlines to make sure I had everything completed within the time frame needed. I hired Jim Maus to represent me when my ex took me back to court for a post-divorce filing concerning our children. I've had several lawyers since being divorced and by far he's the most caring and knowledgeable. He has Supreme Court & trial defense experience so it goes without saying that he's willing to go to bat for his clients. He was thorough and took the time to understand my very complex litigation history with my ex. He listened to my points and worked with me to find solutions for my desired outcome in my case. Additionally, the support staff at this firm goes above and beyond as well. Dirk Kaufman was Jim's legal assistant assigned to my case. He has a wonderful work ethic that is quite rare in today's young professionals. He made sure I had all my questions and concerns answered in a timely manner - which is a trait I personally value. Abigail Simpson also deserves a shout out. When you hire a lawyer, it's not because you're in a cheap or enjoyable situation. Hiring a lawyer is expensive and stressful. Abigail works in the associates accounting dpt. and she is so kind and understanding. After 1/2 of my retainer was used, she reached out to me to set-up a payment plan to ensure my account didn't get behind. She worked with me ever so empathetically to estimate how much more Jim would need to continue working on my case and identify a dollar amount that was affordable for me to make payments. I really appreciate the ability to make payments on my account instead of large lump sums being required. This firm also has a pay online option without additional fee's, so that is extremely convenient as well. God forbid I ever need a lawyer again, but if I do, I'm calling Jim Maus and his crew! Absolutely the worst attorney I have ever dealt with. Didn't have a clue who I was when I called for updates. High priced for mediocre results. I could have saved the $600 I spent on Mr Hart, defended myself and received the same results for an interstate speeding ticket. Ended up paying more for the speeding ticket than the original amount. On top of everything, calls me the day of court and tells me I need to get up and copy, print, and scan back documents or I will have to appear in court in one hour. Didn't even ask me if I wanted to accept the plea deal!!! Moral of the story...don't get caught speeding 😒
