I'm so thankful I met and got to work with the whole Godbey family. I was treated like a lady, not looked down upon per my situation, and truly was helped with every aspect of the bankruptcy! Thanks to the team and especially William, he had a ton of questions thrown at him and was there with me the whole time!!!

Mr. Godbey has represented my family members for more than 15 year on a number of matters including probate, real estate negotiations, estate planning, tenant eviction representation, city building condemnation and sadly in once case criminal traffic (not me-lol). Mark Godbey & Associates has represented me very successfully over the years through different types of legal issues. They are quick to respond to my needs and questions. Mr. Godbey himself personally responds to many of your inquiries, something not seen at most Law firms usually having a secretary respond first. Also the firms work environment is clearly professional and fluid as all of our conversations were CC to his paralegal. While deployed to Afghanistan and able to only correspond over email, this was crucial in a time sensitive manner for myself. I was able to have documents sent to me by Stephanie King almost immediately and without question. She was able to retrieve paperwork I thought would take at least a week in a matter of hours. The truly operate as a functional team that is due tremendous recognition. Mrs. Bruneman was my attorney for my divorce (also while deployed to Afghanistan) and she like Mr. Godbey was extremely helpful and understanding. Making herself available to answer my questions and always going the extra mile to help me out in my case. She made a normally unpleasant experience (from what I've heard it can be), a seemingly easy and very uneventful experience. Also their prices seem insanely reasonable for such an established and successful firm. I don't know if this is because I am in the military (it was never mentioned that I was receiving military discounts) or just really great rates. I did not see a lot of normal fees I hear of from other people's lawyers. I emailed Mrs. Bruneman, I would say, excessive amount of times. Not once did I notice that my rate increased from when I originally hired her. Overall this is a great firm that will truly do whatever they can for you. If you need a hard working Lawyer and to feel like a big shot with a top of the line team working for you behind the scenes (I felt like an elite business professional knowing I had so many people on my cases). Then Godbey Law comes highly recommended from me. Great people!

Mark has been my attorney for over 14 years now and he has always provide me with great legal advice. I would highly recommend Mark and his associates to anyone needing legal advice as I have already sent Mark several new clients.

He wasted our 4 months discovery period by doing almost nothing. He did an inaccurate analysis of the depositions that he took on our case. He failed to inform us of our rights to a jury option. He refused to investigate that the defense and their lawyers destroyed evidence in our favor when we asked him to do so. We ended up firing him. His replacement lawyer pointed out numerous mistakes the he made in his initial complaint to the court and charged us thousands of dollars to completely rewrite it. Godbey did not know what he was doing. When we complained to the Cincinnati Bar on him 2 months after firing him he tried to retaliate by sending us a addition bill for $1500 and claiming that we were 2 months past due in spite of his office aide telling us 2 months prior that we were competely paid up. He told a replacement lawyer private facts about our case without informed consent by us and put a negative spin on it to try to sabotage our finding a replacement.Now he's moved to Lebanon!
