Mark Newman took on our cases for SSI Disability. Although we came to him late in the process, he was very prompt and thorough. He did his research on our cases and was very familiar with the procedures and the laws. He made us feel confident and comfortable. I highly recommend Mark L. Newman, Attorney at Law. I was hospitalized August 2017, with life threatening conditions, caused by medical illnesses I had managed for almost twenty years. After being moved out of Intensive Care, I was diagnosed with added problems. Still, upon discharge from the hospital, my plan was to return to my career. Unfortunately that did not happened. After injuring my back in 2017 and going through some physical therapy for a month I returned to work. I never felt near 100% but I wanted to return. I worked for 5 months with it progressively getting worse and worse before I had to return to a new Dr. He immediately thought I had a herniated disc from the original accident and ordered for a MRI. The MRI was denied by worker’s compensation for me not seeking treatment for the 5 months I found and called Mark and he really was great. He helped a stressful situation go very smoothly. Mark quickly took care of everything needed and after an appeal to my original denial, we won the appeal and it allowed me to get the treatment I needed and the compensation I was denied.the MRI did show a herniated disc and I’m not sure that without Mark’s help that I would have gotten the treatment I needed. I’m very grateful for Mark’s help throughout every step of this process.
