If you need a qualified attorney, I highly recommend Rebecca Zimmelman. She is an exceptional lawyer for any family law needs. I hired Rebecca for a custody/child support issue. Rebecca was always honest and upfront. It might not have been what or the way I wanted things to go but I knew the facts and never felt unprepared. She is very knowledgeable in her field and always prepared me for what to expect. Rebecca was responsive and took the time to answer questions and concerns throughout my entire court proceedings.

Rebecca Zemmelman worked to make my family's adoption finalization successful and a great experience! Her office provided guidance every step of the way and got the paperwork filed for us. And on our finalization day, she went the extra mile to help us get wonderful photos.

We hired Rebecca for the finalization of our daughter's adoption last year in Ohio, and we'd highly recommend using her for this purpose or any other. We were told that it was mostly just a paperwork thing on her end since we didn't need her to file for ICPC (we were New York residents at the time), but I think it ended up being more than that for her in the end, unfortunately. We learned later on that our adoption agency was a nightmare to get a hold of, took numerous back and forths to get information Rebecca needed, and had a number of delays with filings with her and the court. Rebecca knew that we had a tight timeline with a move coming up, and thanks her persistence, relationship with the court, and great communication skills we were able to keep our date for finalization, even though our agency took their time the whole way. Rebecca was a pleasure to work with, and she even hung around to help take pictures after the hearing!

I retained Rebecca after getting poor legal advice and she did incredible work straightening out the details. She does her homework and comes extremely prepared. I have hired other attorneys and I must say this was hands down the best support I have ever experienced. I must say if you’re looking for professional to handle your business look no further.

Rebecca Zemmelman is an absolute amazing lawyer and person. Caring, kind, intelligent, professional and really all you could ever ask for when looking to be represented. From the very first moment of speaking with each other she was on it. Broke down everything with me and we went over everything together and made sure we both were on the same page and understood all there was to know on both sides. I honestly could not have asked for a better attorney and person to help with my custody case. Whenever I needed council, had a question or was ever confused about something, Rebecca was there to help. She always made a point to make sure we were always on the same page so to speak and most definitely handled my case the way I wanted it to be handled. With care, class and professionalism. Rebecca helped me tremendously with custody and parenting time modification with my son. I'm not sure where to begin. My wife and I struggled for weeks looking for a family attorney for our custody battle and eventual adoption of my step daughter. We told Rebecca our story and to our surprise, she listened. Every other attorney we spoke to, either said just give up or find a different attorney. Rebecca took all of the information we gave her and our custody battle began. She prepped us thoroughly and gave us the confidence we needed. Judgment on our behalf! After that, we moved to the adoption phase. Again, Rebecca made things extremely simple. Albeit, lots of time and information was needed. Fast forward to our best interest hearing. We all gathered and when we were called in, Rebecca spoke introducing all of us. She asked questions to each of us that covered everything and more. The judge decided that not only was the adoption in the best interest, but that she was going ahead and finalizing the adoption! We absolutely couldn't be happier. Thank you so much Rebecca. We truly won't be able to thank you enough!!

Rebecca is a boss. She's a subject matter expert regarding the legal ins and outs of custody, parenting, etc. She goes out of her way to be the lawyer that a client wants, and crucially, the kind of lawyer that a specific legal issue requires. She has an amazing sense of when to pursue a matter aggressively - and when to let an issue lay undisturbed. I spent the better part of a year working with Rebecca on a difficult custody matter, that was at best a bleak prospect - and she found a way to a positive outcome. She's knowledgeable, collaborative, informative, and exceedingly understanding - while also very aware of the importance of all of the parts and steps of legal proceedings. Both in an official, courthouse fashion, as well as in a more meta, pieces-of-the-puzzle, big-picture sense. She's really great at her job - and her billing is very, very fair. Maybe most importantly, Rebecca genuinely cares for the people she represents and for the best interests of their children. You should totally hire Rebecca. She's a pleasure to work with and exceedingly skilled in her field.

Such an excellent wealth of knowledge and strong support when needed. I wouldn’t have been able to make it through all the caps without her!!! I would recommend her above all.
