Took my five grand and never even got to see a judge. AVOID her like the plague. ETA: Just saw she says this is "inaccurate and unfair". She has my money, and I never even got to see a judge. That is totally accurate. The "outcome" was continuance after continuance until my retainer was gone, with absolutely no forward movement in any way. If you're considering retaining a lawyer, I sincerely hope that you don't waste your time or money with her. No client of an attorney needs their wishes of luck. Clients need their lawyers to be honest and to do what they say they will.

So beyond helpful and had full knowledge and compassion

She did her job, and I'm happy. I was kinda sketchy simply because of how cheap she is compared to other attorneys, but hey I'm not complaining.

Erin has been an incredible help to me and my family during some distressing times. She has also been with us through uplifting times and assisted with numerous legal matters over the years. She was wonderful to work with and explained things thoroughly and accurately. She agreed to take a smaller retainer due to financial limitations and I felt very confident that she was using my retainer for credible fees and costs. I also had every confidence in her courtroom abilities, her knowledge of the laws and filings in my county and I would absolutely recommend Erin for any family legal matter. She is caring and yet interested in justice and fairness!

I paid her in full to take care of child support and haven't hard from her in over 6 months she won't answer my phone calls or emails she just took my money I pray to God that I could do something about it .I been paying child support for over 40 years I am crying for help

Erin handled my divorce with speed and accuracy. Erin met with me on New Years Eve for quite a few hours. She drew up the paper work and I was divorced by the end of February. My experience with Ms. Armstrong was pleasant and helpful.

Erin seemed like a perfect fit for my custody situation, was confident that we would have results in a timely manner, and I hired her for a cool $2500.00. It's now 16 months later and I have ZERO to show for it. She was unable to get the case changed to Cuyahoga County as she promised, and failed to follow through on further promises to address the case in Michigan. She will not send me an itemized description of how my retainer was used, she will not respond to any phone calls or emails. I cannot afford to hire another attorney to help me get custody of my daughter and I feel completely duped.

Erin is AMAZING! I felt absolutely confident during the entire process, that Erin had my best interest in mind. She was exemplary at her job, rational about what the expectations would be for me and for the others involved, professional and always cared. Erin is a force that will not be shaken with tough situations and can battle any issue with grace and compassion. I have recommended her to multiple individuals and they have all reported the same great work from her. If you need a lawyer call Erin, she will get you through a tough time and make the process smooth. Erin also has very reasonable fees and is extremely reasonable with how payments can be made. I highly recommend her!!!

Erin sometimes let months go by without responding to phone calls and emails. Erin did not advocate with any vigor. Erin bragged about being unbeatable during trial, but in the final settlement meeting, advanced only one or two mild objections while letting opposing counsel get everything her client asked for. Erin helped to ensure that the final separation agreement included protections for the defendant without advocating for protective measures for me. When issues arose after settlement papers were signed, Erin did not return phone calls or respond to emails. As a result of her efforts, I am working a second job for the next year to break even each month. Her billing practices are also unprofessional. After her retainer was paid, Erin did not produce a statement of expenses until after settlement (six months after being hired). I would not recommend her to anyone, and regret that I did not fire her (as so many family members and friends who knew what stress she was putting me through recommended).

You don't find many attorney's if you don't have a $5000 retainer. Thank God I found Erin. She was willing to help and and let me make payments to her. Has been willing to take as much time as needed to get the job done. There are still good people out there and Erin is one of them. Thank you Erin!!

Erin is by far the most understanding and patiant attorney that I have delt with. She let me speak and let me do what I felt was best for my kids and myself. She knew I just wanted the divorce to be done and over with. She talked to me as a client but also as a person who was having a hard time with my seperation. I WILL be using her in the near future to follow up on my case and I will recommend Erin to any one that is looking for a calm, down to earth, but NOT scared to go in and be a bull dog when needed!! We initially called three lawyers to form a basis of whom to select to update and prepare our family legal documents. Erin was the only lawyer who took the time to talk with us up front about how she could help us fulfill our needs and invited us to meet with her for a consultation. My wife and I formed an immediate bond as we learned of her qualifications and skills and more importantly of her family, religious and ethical values. During the face to face meetings, Erin used a structured but non-formal and friendly approach in determining our choices and recording that information for her later drafting our new Wills, Durable Power of Attorney, Health Care Power of Attorney, etc. In addition, she was very helpful and recommended new legal documents that have recently emerged to fortify other documents -- these included the "Designation of Personal Representative" for HIPPA requirements; the "Appointment of Representative for Disposition of Bodily Remains" which is a new document authorized by the Ohio House in 2006 to enhance and legally record specific and concise final wishes to assist family members expediciously during a difficult time. Erin also made a useful recommendation to deposit our wills and file them in the Probate Court so that an official copy would be available in an off-site location. She also took care of the filing details for us. Overall, we were very pleased with Erin's legal knowledge and her ability to explain to us in easily understandable language, the details of some complex terms and concepts that are often taken for granted and not questioned because people may feel that it is common knowledge and don't want to be embarrassed. Erin made us feel at ease to ask any questions and took the time to explain them to us so that we really understood what is now in our legal documents. We would recommend Erin to anyone who needs legal work performed and strongly endorse her working approach with clients as knowledgeable, courteous and easy to understand and work with. She kept us informed on her progress and completed all our requests in a timely manner.
