Police misconduct civil rights lawsuit sorry we don't have enough attorneys to handle this is what they said see you later

It is impossibly to get through to a human or navigate the system. After calling several times a few weeks ago only to be put on hold until it decided it was time to disconnect, I filled out an online application and made an appointment for a call. They called half an hour before my appointment. I and I was at work. They rescheduled me, but I missed it thanks to a glitch. The voicemail, get this, only said to call the number I'd been trying to call weeks before. And, when you call the number, it tells you to fill out an online application, which I already did. So now I don't know what to do. Emailed the address on their website but haven't gotten a response. I'm sure they are just overwhelmed, but they are stressing out stressed out people. It would be nice if they could get someone to work out the kinks and make the whole system work a little more smoothly.

Who ever is donating money to this JUST STOP !!!! It's not worth two dead flies. They don't help with nothing so why waste money and ppl time. All they gonna say is they can't help so don't worry I'm gonna protest that not one person give up a dollar to this unjustifiable failure of a project I mean program. Where is the money going to ??? Who stealing ppl money ??? I smell a theft. How many cases do y'all deny ??? How many cases do y'all take???

Terrible service. I called for help, and connected with a very rude person who didn't want to hear what I had to say. She kept interrupting me when I was trying to explain my situation. At one point she was providing me with another phone number to call, and I asked her to wait a moment please while I got to the appropriate page in the journal I was taking notes on and she said she wouldn't wait a moment and continued to say the phone number. I asked what her name was and she wouldn't give it to me. I contacted the Executive Director via email, and I hope to receive a reply.

Negative 5 stars for the staffer who refused to answer a basic question today: Can I, as a military vet, get assistance in looking over a 2 page contract? Or is Legal Aid not the place for that? When a staffer spends so much time trying to be dismissive and condescending, it unfortunately reflects back on the place where they work. To refer a caller to "intake" - a 2 hour phone loop to nowhere that doubles back to the staffer - is silly. And to have that staffer pick up and then hang up the phone pretending she can't hear, is even sillier. When someone is not good at their job, or hates the job that they must do, it shows. It's never too late to turn the staffer's position over to a nice, competent computer.

I have tried to get legal assistance one more than one occasion, and every time they have an excuse as to why they can't help!

I contacted Legal Aid and had an appointment set. Appointment was scheduled for 4/5/23. I was contacted on 4/6/23 after my court time with an I apologize for late response, when I input that my court date was on 4/6/23. Now a letter said I was contacted 2x which wasn’t true. Legal Aid do better, if someone is seeking advice etc. it’s for a reason.

Disliked... Only bcuz... when called back from leaving/using call back prompt... and alot of personal questions are asked by a person working from her home..... Told... No Staff available to help anyone. Told to call Bar Association. Waste of time currently to call Legal Aid. Prior usage... yes, Fabulous Help. ☺
