It took me weeks to research and read reviews on different law firms and attorneys, before I obtained a law firm that I felt comfortable with to handle my case. My case was a 35+ year old theft case, a combination of 2 petty theft charges that resulted in a felony. I was young at the time and was ignorant to the laws. Before the laws changed, I was not able to get 2 charges of the same kind expunged if they occurred within a year of each other, so I skated through life hoping these charges would never surface on my background checks. I was also embarrassed and ashamed to address the courts, so it took me years to make a decision to have these charges expunged, because I knew sooner or later, my past would catch up to me, and I would have to undergo a background check. I was impressed with the reviews I read on this firm, so I contacted them, and hired Ashley to take my case. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. From start to finish, I was kept in the loop about the details of my case. Ashley and her team did their thing. I never had to make an appearance in court. Everything was handled through court filings and Journal entries. The case began in May, 2024, and I received a call from Ashley on 10/16/24, that my expungement was completed, and notifications were filed with the courts and sent to all agencies involved to have these charges removed from all systems. I received an electronic copy and will get a hard copy in the mail. This expungement has truly changed my life. I feel like a heavy load has been lifted off of my shoulders. I can now seek employment without the stress of my criminal record hindering any employer decisions. I would HIGHLY recommend Ashley and the firm to anyone. They are by far the best.
