Just so hard to reach anyone

Every time I call I wait on hold for a long time in the automated system and then it just hangs up I can never get through!

No one ever answers the phone

Never even showed up at my court hearing. Fortunately, my case was dismissed after representing myself.

They were supposed to help me with my taxes and my bankruptcy and I gave them $300 and they never returned my money so I would like to receive my money if I can through legal aid if they get this message

To be told that I qualify for help, but they don't have anyone to help me... Shame on you for wasting all of our time. As much as you are needed, if you can't actually help anyone why do you bother to keep the doors open. Just shut down, and stop selling us false hope.

I would post no stars if possible. They were prompt in returning calls, so perhaps that warrants a star. I am sure they have helped some people, but the representative I have dealt with was rude, negative, dismissive, matter-of- fact, condescending, insinuating, judgemental, and gave no legal advice. I was all but told I was unskilled and basically a liar. I was talked to like I was child and told that they couldn't help me, for a plethora of non legal reasons. I was all but told I was a fool for even attempting what I needed legal help with. You get what you pay for. I would say this is a joke of an institution, run by quack lawyers who just need a paycheck but have no real burden for the community they are meant to serve. I hope others have a better experience.
