I would recommend Eli Tamkin to anyone in need of his services, especially if you have an extremely busy schedule. One of the reasons why I initially chose him as my attorney was the fact that he has a streamlined process that can be completed online, over the phone or in person. I am attending college full time, working, and in the US Army Reserves. I put off bankruptcy but with the creditors winning judgments against me I was forced to file in the middle of the semester. Mr. Tamkin was very understanding, patient and professional. Additionally, I had a very complicated financial situation which he handled very well. The service that I received was well above what I had to pay. He is a top rate attorney at an affordable price.

Prior to my going to Mr. Tamkin they had sold my house. Mr. Tamkin stopped the sale. Others were advising me to go into bankruptcy. Mr. Tamkin advised me not to. He coached me to open a bank account and to do Profit and Loss Statements, since I am self employed. Mr. Tamkin got me a modification on my loan, that is incredible! He got my principal and balance down to $21,000 and gave me a credit for $4,000 and forgave all my arrearages. All my taxes and insurance are included. Since he did this for me, with my credit, my principal is down to $16,000. Mr. Tamkin didn’t charge me a lot and he gave me a payment plan. I am very grateful to him!
