Before I first called A & A, Attorney at Law for help and a consultation I was so afraid to face the financial holes that I dug myself into. Idk what to expect and what the future holds but this is the first step. This law firm answered and are working hard on their part to help get my finance situation situated and ease some of my fears. Leo, the paralegal that helped me with the first step with my case was very patient and persistent on getting my papers. Next step is talking to my attorney. There's a process for everything and these things take time so I don't expect everything be done or go away when you want it to. Bottom line is I need help and this law firm is helping. Thank you so much and I appreciate you guys Amourgis and Associates Law firm and team!

This was a terrible experience for me. They took my money after speaking with me once and I advised I was not sure which route I wanted to take. A call was scheduled for about a week in advance to discuss it. At that time I advised I did not want to go through with the bankruptcy. I provided a payment to Amourgis on the original call. When I advised I did not want to go through with the bankruptcy Amourgis refused to refund me ANY of the money they obtained. I don't think this is fair to keep all of the funds and justify it by telling me they are paid hourly. My case had not began. I also feel the intake worker deliberately pushes towards filing and forcing a payment at that time. I feel like I was scammed. So don't even call Amourgis if you're even just thinking about filing. They will convince you and if you change your mind they will keep your money.

Excellent experience

I am happy that many people posting here have had a positive experience with this firm, but unfortunately it was not the case with my family. When my son first contacted the firm he spoke with one of the attorneys mentioned in posts here. We were encouraged by this attorney that the firm would be able to help. When an attorney was assigned to us, however, we realized that we had gotten someone else who seemed to be very unsure of what to do. We did lots of research and much of the time it seemed like we were telling the attorney what needed to be done. As mentioned in other posts, this firm is expensive, which is fine as long as the job is getting done. In our case, savings accounts were drained with nothing to show for it. My son had to hire someone from another firm to clean up the mess that the Cordell attorney left. Be wary and cautious of the attorney you hire. Had we been able to keep the original attorney who spoke to my son, things may have been different. If we had the opportunity to speak with the attorney we ended up with prior to paying the retainer, we wouldn’t have wasted our money.

Explained all information clearly. Nice attitude, worked hard on all needed done. Excellent Highly Recommended!

I was refer to this law firm because I was told they are good at what they do but my experience with the intake team has not been great. I have been playing phone tag or not getting responses and every time I call the office I get hung up on or disconnected. It's really frustrating. I still have not talked to a bankruptcy lawyer as of today but I have an appointment this Friday so hopefully I won't get canceled again and I can move on with this process. UPDATE: JANUARY 30, 2024 After a really rough start to this process, one of the attorneys reached out to me and actually took my concerns to heart. I really appreciate him reaching out. The end process has been a better experience than the beginning.

Horrible representation by Danielle Kulik. She showed up to court and did pretty much nothing but complain about the paint she got in her eye while painting her deck. She made it clear she was in a rush to get back home and get paint off her dog rather than properly representing myself and my children. She screwed me and my kids over badly. This is not just my opinion this has been confirmed by other divorce attorneys I’ve spoken with. Complete waste of money. I would’ve gotten a much better result by representing myself. Sad.
