Unfortunately I was injured at work at the end of 2014 so I contacted Doug Malak who helped me get care and has been the only one with my best interests in mind. I would refer anyone I know to Malak & Malak because nobody else is concerned with your well being.

They have won every hearing for us! My husband was hurt at work with a traumatic brain injury. Of course the employer does not want to pay and has fought the claim through totally irrelevant issues, but Doug as won every hearing. We highly recommend this law firm.

I got injured at my warehouse job in 2011. I worked at this warehouse for 2 years loading catfood into boxes and placing them onto conveyor belts. For whatever reason, I was loading a heavy box of the catfood onto the belt and I felt a sharp pain in my lower back. I worked through the pain and finished out my shift. But after sleeping on it for a night, I just had throbbing pain. Went to urgent care and they diagnosed a back sprain. I now needed to get an attorney to represent me in court. I asked friends if they recommended anyone and they pointed out Malek & Malek. I was familiar with the lawfirm because I could see the sign driving to work. Went into Ed Malek’s office, which was a bit of a mess. But Ed was really down to earth and really cooled off my anxiety about the whole process. Fast forward a few years, Ed and Doug helped me get the pt and surgery for my back. The wc system too me is pretty confusing, but Doug really helped me navigate the process and get compensation for my back. Would I rather not have been injured in the first place? Yes, but since I was I can’t recommend Malek & Malek enough. Hope this is helpful for someone.
