David will read this review and become very defensive like he did for all of the other negative reviews he has received and probably say something to the effect that I was not a “real client” or he worked really hard for all of his clients. I can assure you my bank account says otherwise. David talked a big game during my consultation, but sadly it was all talk. David was arrogant, and yet provided nothing to justify his arrogance. He had no problem charging the fees a great attorney can charge, but for me and for my family he was no great attorney. There is no shortage of divorce/family law attorneys in Columbus. Save your time, hope, and money and hire someone else.

David was referred to me by a colleague. Another lawyer in the same area of law also warned me of his reputation for having an immoral and unethical approach. David advocated using any means necessary, games and antics to intimidate the other party. David is extremely unprofessional and lack the maturity to practice law. He was very arrogant in telling me not to worry multiple times, I believe he just wanted the business. My unfortunate circumstance was made more so by hiring him. I was displeased with the representation David provided me from the start to the finish of my case. He lacked knowledge, professionalism and punctuality. He failed to provide me with updates and lacked communication, and he was distracted and disrespectful. It seems he was set on keeping the price of the case at an exorbitant amount. I would not recommend him!

David was referred to me by my daughter-in-law. She's in the law business in another capacity. David and his assistant (Jaime) were a pleasure to work with. I was very pleased with the moral and ethical approach they practiced. My case started out as a dissolution, I knew it would only take a few weeks to finalize, but due to the antics of my now ex-wife's family, I was forced to file for divorce. David was very involved with the everyday games that took place, he was very positive and helped me address any issues that arose. I would find it very easy to refer David and Jaime to friends and family who may go through the unfortunate circumstances of domestic affairs.

I was pleased with the representation David provided me from the start to the finish of my case. He was knowledgable and timely throughout. He provided necessary updates, and I always felt like he was mindful and respectful of the amount of communication we had with the intent to keep the price of the case at a fair rate. David lacks knowledge of case law, and the ability to understand what I needed and how to evaluate my case. This made him the wrong lawyer. He was so incompetent and I expected more from this firm! I tell all my friends not to go to him. He is lazy, uneducated and does nothing! Thanks for nothing!

Unhappy with the performance of David Plumb. Bad reputation, could not maintain composure when in trial and arrogance clouded his judgement of outcome for my case. I ended up firing him and it completely changed the direction for my case. Consult any they lawyer before thinking of hiring David.
