I recently was involved in an auto accident in which someone ran a red light and broad-sided the car I was driving. I was inundated with calls and letters from companies wishing to represent me in some capacity because of my accident. I went on-line the day after I was released from the hospital to view comments and ratings for law firms in Columbus that handled personal injury cases. I had seen many firms advertised on television and wanted to see for myself what clients thought of their services. I chose GBM Law because of their high rating by clients and I have not been disappointed. I spoke with an attorney, Matt Ice, that day briefly over the phone and he stopped at my house on his way home from work to discuss my case the same day. Having worked in a customer service business for many years, I was very impressed. I have been equally impressed with the follow up provided by the legal assistant, Talena Burns, assigned to my case. She has been very attentive and thorough to the gathering of information regarding my accident and communicating back with me. She has also been very prompt in answering any questions I have. We sometimes forget that the support services of a business or company are just as important as the person on the front line. I made the right choice with GBM Law.

Two years ago, I was rear-ended while sitting at a red light. The driver was a teenager insured by the same insurance company I have. I'm fortunate to drive a Lexus RX350, which sustained very little visible damage; however, my 60+ body was not as lucky. Within 36 hours of the accident, my lower back and hips were in trouble, and I suffered a TIA (mini stroke) about two weeks later. Although my doctor and I believed it was a result of the stress and pain brought on by the accident, the correlation could not be proven. I received therapy for my back and a recommendation from a family friend to contact GBM Law for help. I was assigned to Matt Ice who made no unrealistic promises about settlement expectations, however, he did promise to do his best to help the parties involved see and understand how the accident had impacted my life and health. In time, Matt was able to get me a fair settlement, which should arrive just before Christmas. Yay! Seriously though, the best gift of all was that Matt believed in my case and never ever stopped advocating for me.
