I hired Ryan in February of 2020 and with COVID the court dates got pushed back and pushed back. I write this review today that my case is finally over and Ryan has went above and BEYOND expectations. I previously hired Ryan 2 years ago for a different case and that case went very well and I'm very pleased with the two outcomes. I highly recommend hiring Ryan for all your needs in court.

So he came recommended by a few friends and i gave him a shot not sure what to expect. After a few continuations he came in and told me they dropped it to a physical control and zero points on the licence. Excellent considering they had a breathalyzer on me. this guy is worth every penny. basically saved my job because i have to drive for a living on company insurance.!!!!! thanks Ryan!!!

I was in need of a lawyer and saw the reviews for Ryan in which the positive reviews are very accurate. My experience with Ryan has been great. He is very professional, and Ryan and his staff are extremely helpful during my situation. Ryan is very communicative, and answered all of my questions during the process. He took care of every last detail for me when I am not familiar with the legal process, and made it stress free for me. I ended up with a great result thanks to Ryan and his staff, and would highly recommend his services.

Ryan Shafer was an excellent lawyer when dealing with my traffic accident citation case. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me resolve the case quickly and efficiently. I left a review earlier but as my cases came to a close I find out that Ryan is incompetent, and grossly misrepresents himself I hired him for multiple cases going on consecutively...... after everything concluded I go and try to get my license reinstated they of course tell me what I had been telling him that the ALS suspension was still in effect from a charge that was dismissed! Ryan was suppose to be representing me at Joslyn Law Firm but when it came time he sent some unprepared replacement who was late. Ryan never said he wasn't coming..... and unfortunately that for me was the beginning of the end!! I too would give him negative stars if i could as he has since failed to return phone calls. Who does that??? and why not he's been paid. Ryan/Josyln Law Firm are unprofessional and have lost there moral compass for better words...... Just do research before hiring attorney especially when your future is dependent on it. I now have to deal with the repercussions of his incompetence. Ryan and the Josyln Firm were lazy above all.. The crime here is that he's allowed to still practice law!! What a system we have........... Again do your research!!!

I was charged with an OVI in Delaware County. This was my first brush with the law and I was very stressed and scared. I originally hired an attorney that didn't specialize in OVI cases. It quickly became clear that this was a mistake. I decided to switch attorneys and contacted Ryan Shafer. This was like going from the minor leagues to the big leagues. Ryan had a strategy for my case immediately and carried it out like the professional that he is. My case was immediately reduced to a physical control and my year long administrative license suspension was taken down to 6 months. I would recommend Ryan Shafer to anyone who is facing these types of very serious charges. The piece of mind that your case is being handled by an expert in his field is well worth it.

Having my 1st DV charge or arrest ever, and being scared, Ryan truly made sure to make me feel at ease. Explained everything to me, from start to finish. He was even able to get my case expunged. Not only did he go above and beyond for me, but did everything he promised he would do. No one better than Ryan to take care of you! Truly has your best interest at heart!

I contacted Ryan Shafer about a DWI charge and since this was my first time in court I was extremely anxious. But, after having met and spoken to him, I was sure my case was in the best possible hands. He was professional, confident, and assured me that things would be okay. I was charged with multiple OVI offenses Franklin county, driving under OVI suspension in Licking and Pickaway county. I hired Ryan Shafer to represent me for all offenses. I received fines and 1 year non-reporting probation, 6 month license suspension. No jail! For Franklin county Licking county carried a mandatory minimum 3 days jail they suspended my license 1 year. Considering my prior offenses was a gift..... Then finally Pickaway same charge as Licking carried a mandatory minimum 10 days jail for 2nd offense driving under OVI suspension was dismissed, and charged with invalid tags received a fine!! I would highly recommend Ryan to anyone family, friends!! I was facing serious penalties. Don't just hire the first attorney you talk to, you should ask around do some research online. Most attorneys will tell you what you wanna hear. The successful ones won't say anything they will show you with results!! I was ready to wave the white flag, and give up! I couldn't imagine things would of turned out the way they did...... I'm grateful and just relieved now it's all behind me!

Having Ryan represent me was the best choice I could have made after receiving a DUI. The court system can be a scary thing to face when we make poor decisions. Ryan vast knowledge of the legal system set my mind at ease during the first consultation with him. I never felt as if I was just another case number to him but always showed he cared about me as a person in need of help. With Ryan's on my side my charge was reduced, fines no where near what I thought they would be and I was driving again right away. I just thank God that Ryan was recommended to me and was able to help me put my life back together!
