I am very satisfied with the attorney services of Charles Kettlewell. I was to a called sua sponte hearing by the Character & Fitness Review Board. Mr. Kettlewell spotted all the issues and successfully advocated for me every step of the way.

Mr. Kettlewell represented me when a former employer filed a grievance I believed to be retaliatory in nature. I am confident that Mr. Kettlewell's diligence and strong working relationship with ODC secured the just and expeditious resolution in the matter and the best outcome for my situation (dismissal of the grievance and closure of the investigation). I would highly recommend his services to anyone who has to engage with the attorney disciplinary system in Ohio.

Mr. Kettlewell handled a C&F matter for me and I couldn't have asked for better representation. Extremely diligent, knowledgeable and a well prepared course of conduct my matter from start to finish. My only regret is that I didn't hire him sooner! I started with a different counsel that wasted a lot of my time and money. Charles assisted me with a bank error concerning an IOLTA account and offered some general trust management advice. He also provided some general ethics advice. He was highly responsive and very knowledgeable so I would recommend him to anyone.

Charles effectively and efficiently responded to a letter of inquiry that I received from the Ohio Supreme Court Disciplinary Counsel regarding an IOLTA banking error. His response led to a prompt dismissal of the case. Charles saved me the time (and hassle) of responding to the OSC-DC, in turn, allowing me to focus on my own clients' matters. I would add that during that process Charles also provided me with sound advice for maintaining my integrity and professionalism during extremely contentious and ongoing litigation--just one of the reasons I did not have the time to handle the IOLTA matter myself. I cannot think of a reason why a practicing lawyer would not hire an ethics lawyer to handle any issue no matter how seemingly minor. Hairdressers do not cut their own hair. Surgeons do not operate on themselves. If you are a practicing lawyer and do not already 'have a guy', then call Charles!

I would like to take this opportunity to submit a review. Mr. Kettlewell usually returns telephone calls within 24 hours. He puts together background information on his client's behalf so that a polished and thorough submission can be made to the other entity. Based upon his professional experience, Mr. Kettlewell is understanding and objective. When he represented me, Mr. Kettlewell was able to provide restrained and dispassionate guidance that appropriately tempered my subjective overview of the legal matter.

In the last 20 years I was represented twice by Mr. Kettlewell regarding letter of inquiry from Ohio Disciplinary Counsel. I Could have not hoped for better representation during those trying emotional times. His superior knowledge in the area as well as his great personality made dealing with him a pleasure.
