I could not have asked for a better attorney!! Heather, Carol’s paralegal was also my paralegal back in 2002 for my car accident. When Heather started working for Carol, she knew we were going to look at filing disability back in 2002 but when the attorney passed away unexpectedly things did not get done. So once she got settled in at Carol L. Herdman Herdman Yeager, LLC she let me know to contact her when I was ready. So 9 years later after trying once or twice on my own and not getting a in, I called and could not be happier with my choice. Heather already knew me and how to work with my scattered brained, talkative, crazy personality which was great. I trusted her to give her all my MyChart log in information so she could get whatever she needed when she needed. When I first spoke with Carol, she is very compassionate about what she does, she will tell you what she thinks ( I personally don’t think she will take on a case she can’t win) and lets you how things can go. I got told, it could get denied and we would have to appeal it(which can take awhile)or it could get approved but that was not likely on the first try and she was right. It got denied, we appealed it, and she got it approved!! It took I think 2 years from start to finish and I could work at all. They do pay you the back pay in lump sum. Carol is VERY good at communicating and so is Heather. Just know things will know happen over night you can check things online and she will fight for you especially when you have no fight left in you do to your illness taking you down.

I was very ignorant to all the legal aspects of my BWC case and I didn’t make the best decisions. I finally decided to reach out to Chris at Herdman Yeager and it was the best decision I made.
