I had a phenomenal experience with Hoover Kacyon! Eli Heller from Hoover Kacyon exceeded my expectations in every single way. Eli’s depth of knowledge and expertise is second to none. The respect he has garnered throughout Ohio allows him to work with an efficiency and effectiveness that I have never witnessed before. Beyond all this, Eli is a top-class guy who really cares about the people he takes on as clients. I am so grateful to Eli Heller and Hoover Kacyon for what they have done for me, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone who’s in need of a lawyer.

This law firm came highly recommended to me and so I reached out to see if they could assist with some post decree issues. Apparently I had an appt with an attorney (over the phone mid Covid) 3 years ago about my divorce, which is long since ended. Due to this, they decided to increase their initial consultation fee from $100 to $250. Mind you, I’m already paying to see if I would hire them and pay them an assumed large retainer and subsequent fees. What a terrible policy and terrible way to do business. I will be speaking with my clients who recommended this firm and informing them of my experience. I would highly suggested anyone find another attorney who won’t charge you extra to try and hire them. To say this is absurd is the nicest way to explain this. Part 2: This response from the firm is a complete lie. Not once was I rude or unprofessional. As I stated in my review you came highly recommended, however as many reviewers here have said your firm didn’t live up to its reputation. Lying to make yourselves look better is absurd. I was polite and in a very calm manner explained what my situation was. If questioning the price increase is considered rude to Corrine then maybe you have a money problem there? Again this response from this law firm should show you everything you need to know about them. When they get caught being greedy and someone speaks up, they attack you and make false claims. Remember to record your conversations with these people. Like another poster said, she wishes she had.

Eli is a very compassionate lawyer. He sincerely cares about his clients and will do what he can to help you. Was very thorough throughout the entire process of my case , and was there when I needed him. Makes you feel like you really have someone in your corner .

Eli and the staff made a difficult situation simple. They were kind, professional, and very thorough. I would highly recommend them!

Be prepared to pay $250 anytime you want to talk to her. Not even a phone call. Find a different lawyer.

Although I didn't get the news I wanted, the attorney was very kind and informed me of other options. I was not happy about the 100 fee that I think should have been free since it was a 1st and only visit. It was strictly informational, and that was it.

Mr. Heller recently represented me, and he truly went above and beyond to resolve my case and got me the best results possible!

This review is long overdue. I needed help to get my sister-state judgment (also known as foreign-state judgment) enforced in the state of Ohio from out of state. It wasn’t easy - but together, my team of Joes (Joe Bruce and Joe Kaceyon) won. Justice prevailed.
