It was a long rollercoaster to SSID and a LOT of scrutiny from all departments involved, which I feel is good. They should not be handing out disability without a rigorous evaluation. Needless to stay, from start-to-finish, it took about 3 years total and about a year with HNB Law, not of their fault. NOBODY in government moves quickly when it comes to get you paid. I had to contact my congressman after everything was approved just to get paid. That should not be a step in the process. Regardless, HNB stayed with me to the end. I received backpay for the three year period and the highest amount available monthly for someone that has paid a lot into Social Security over the past 25-30 years. I also have full medical, which I severely needed with all my health issues. Communication through email worked great. I always like everything in writing for reference. Thanks for the work HNB! It is my opinion that if you do NOT have a lawyer, you have a VERY little chance in getting your case approved. HNB was tried and true for me.
