I hired this attorney two to three years ago for a custody matter. He agreed to full custody case which included establishment of parenting time and the custody case itself. He allowed the defendants lawyer to establish parenting time with no rebuttal stating that we would focus on custody. Even when the parenting time was not adhered to, he didn't fill charges. He was never prepared, never talked to any witnesses that I listed, hardly ever returned phone calls. After the establishment of parenting time, I decided that this attorney was not equipped to handle our represent my best interest. I paid 3500 up front for the entire two part process. He has not given the custody monies back after he was let go. He has not responded. Although he knows he did not completed any work on the custody hearing. Do not pay this attorney up front. Not an honest person with good work ethics.

Hands down best attorney in ohio! I have used his services on several occasions and that of his associates. I have always received the utmost respect n dedication. Mr. Adams fought hard for me even when the so called "evidence" was stacked against me! I owe this man so much for his expert representation and his advice as a friend! . If you're ever in need for legal representation you can do no wrong by hiring this law firm!

Like the other reviewers I hired jay adams, but actually got a junior attorney named grant. My case dragged on for several years and at the end of the day i got the same plea deal that was offered originally. It appears to me that adams was just running up billable hours. Also getting a hold of either adams or grant was next to impossible. Additonally it struck me that adams was all together too friendly & cooperative with the prosecutors and police. In my opinion I was not provided an adequate defense by adams.

I WOULD SUGGEST FINDING A DIFFERENT ATTORNEY BECAUSE I NEVER MET JAY ADAMS ONLY GRANT AND CHARGED ME A ARM AND A LEG AND NEVER EVEN FILED. SURE DID TAKE THE MONEY OUT IN A HEART BEAT BUT TOOK ALMOST 2 MONTHS TO GET IT BACK AND HAD TO BEG FOR A RECEIPT AND CHARGED ME FOR ASKING FOR THAT. THIS WAS A DIVORCE CASE THAT ME AND MY HUSBAND WORKED OUT AND SURE DIDNT NEED THIS. I SUGGEST YOU FIND ANOTHER ATTORNEY JAY ADAMS IS NOT THE ONE.

This lawyer was retained to represent me for a DUI that was questionable. During the run up to trial I was told we would win, that there was no question about it. After several rulings went against us (after the initial meetings, I was sloughed off to his associate, Grant) I was "encouraged" to plead guilty and accept an arranged plea. I agreed and then proceeded to receive the maximum sentence (there were no injuries or property damages). Adams agreed to appeal the case at no cost and after a year of waiting and half hearted excuses the appeal his associate had prepared was denied. The old bait and switch at its best. Don't waste your time and money.
