I have made several poor choices over the course of my life, but choosing the Richard West Law Office to handle my Bankruptcy was one of the wisest. How and Why this Registered Nurse managed to get himself into such a financial quagmire is a convoluted story that has little relevance to this review. What is important is that when I hit rock bottom and was finally ready to climb out, I knew I could not get back on my feet with ~$35,000 of credit card debt, unpaid bills, taxes owed on my foreclosed home and collection agencies breathing down my neck. When I first consulted (at no cost to me) with attorney West almost 2 years ago, we developed a plan and decided bankruptcy was not an option. My circumstances changed over time for the worse and I returned this last April. In every visit I was treated by Mr West and his staff with the utmost respect and educated but not judged for my poor financial choices. I think what initially inspired me to choose West Law Office was the focus on how to reestablish my credit after the Bankruptcy. As I understand it, almost any attorney can file and manage a straight forward Bankruptcy case but only a few help their clients to learn to responsibly manage their credit after the fact. Thanks to the great support and handling of my case by the very knowledgeable staff member assigned to help me through the process, the filing and hearing went very smoothly. I just started a new job and have the tools & knowledge I need to make me a responsible credit user. One of the attributes I like about him is his willingness to look at something and say what if or how can we do that? We are starting a project that requires a lot of research into existing case law.

Mr. West repeatedly lied to us throughout and after our chapter 13 bankruptcy. He cost my mother-in-law who had co-signed on a loan for us to have to pay Ford Motor Co. $10,000. He stated we could keep our house which we lost in year 3 of our chap 13 case. He is nothing but a crook. Don't go near him or his firm.
