Charley Hess is the lawyer for Lux Auto Depot in Powell Ohio and their salesman Steve Vaughan stole $30,000 from me and the owner Ani (last name too long to write) who supposedly isn’t even a US citizen. Some lawyers just have no ethics and will protect anyone for a quick buck. $75 consultation. Must be a great lawyer. Does he offer coupons too ;).

I hired Charley for a criminal case where I had an outstanding warrant. He was able to show the Judge that I don't deserve to be in jail and I was able to be put on probation. He restored my faith in the system. I have referred him clients because he is a rarity as far as lawyers go.

Charley represented me on 2 occasions and I have referred at least 3 other people that need representation. Charley is extremely well versed in both criminal and civil litigation. I find him open minded and a great advocate for his clients. Our relationship goes back 10+ years and he is the only attorney I would consider for representation.

Charley Hess was hired to represent me in filing a case against my builder through the AAA. Charley put his interests ahead of mine! Charley was paid a lot of money by the hour and neglected to include 5 of the 9 issues at the arbitration hearing in early 2016 and of the 4 issues that were presented at the hearing Charley left out crucial evidence, had witnessed not show up, and witness excluded that I did not know about. Charley did not do his job and drug out the entire process! Charley was not prepared for the hearing, lacked communication, and did less for me than the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio.

Charley is as competent and ethical as any attorney with whom I’ve been involved. He thinks on his feet and outworks his opposition. He quickly grasps situations that seem too complicated for his opposing counsel. Charley Hess is the best not just as a attorney but also as a person! ( A RARITY IN ANY PROFESSION THESE DAYS) He fights for what is right. He also fights for what is in his clients best interest. That may mean telling you when to cut your losses and stop throwing money in the wind. On many occasions I have been madder than H--L and he has sat down with me and listened to my case. After hearing all my facts and evidence his reply to me was. Yes what happened is absolutely wrong you have every right to be mad and I will do every thing in my power to make this right but your facts and evidence are a little lose and I personally would not pay me to chase after this one. After hearing this I thought wow any one that would not exploit someones emotions for personal gain this is the true definition of INTEGRITY! His office staff is of the same quality, integrity and professionalism as he. From the time you walk in the door you are treated like the most important client they have. ( cant say that about every place you spend your money at these days) Charley Hess and his team are one of those rare gems you find along life's path!!!!

Having known Mr. Charles, "Charley", Hess since high school days, I had early opportunity to see his identifiable and admirable character traits: great work ethic, high intellectual ability, compassion for others, relentless pursuit at whatever the task and a powerful drive to "just get things right"! Subsequently, many years later, I had the good fortune to have Mr. Hess represent me in a sundry of legal concerns: 1) In court, per Mr. Hess's counsel, I disputed having to pay delinquent taxes that were erroneously "dumped" on me when my family and I purchased a large land parcel (we won) 2) I was arrested for a domestic violence charge that was basically a "set-up" by my ex-wife and her "lawyer-boyfriend" (charges were dropped/we won) 3) I purchased a new, 2006 Chrysler 300 vehicle that continued to have mechanical deficiencies with its alignment and steering rods; 5 trips to the dealership without getting it fixed>>hence: Mr. Hess sued Chrysler under the "Lemon-law" provisions (Again, we won! The settlement allowed me correct the problem). While these are three examples of my own personal concerns, I have referred Mr. Hess to several of my relatives who also benefitted in all matters he addressed. Moreover, I know of a number of situations where Mr. Hess has helped out some of our "down-and-out" classmates who got into big trouble. Charley, due to fault of his own, always jumped in to help out without being concerned whether they could pay him or not. His loyalty to friends and compassion for those in need are a constant daily mantra for Mr. Hess. Without any reservation whatsoever, , I highly recommend Mr. Charles, "Charley", Hess to anyone who needs important legal representation!

A professional with high integrity and character who is no-nonsense and gets right to it. I've known and worked with Mr. Hess several times over the past 10 years and found him to be very reliable and fair.
