I just walked out of the courthouse after going to trial with my head held high knowing that justice was served, and a reinstated confidence in myself. Despite turning down an incredibly generous plea deal at the absolute last minute, Mr. Kruger still went to trial the same day and won my case. I used to get in a lot of trouble when I was younger, and I alway took my charges, did my jail time, and got it over with, because I knew I was in the wrong. Now I’m a Husband, a Father, and a Provider for a beautiful little family, so It’s very important that I set a good example for my children through my actions and not just my words. That’s why today’s trial was so important. I knew I was innocent, and my family knew it as well.
