I don’t usually posts review in anger, but this company took me for a loop. They will bill you for work they don’t even complete. Overall I had a bad experience with them and I hope you learn from my mistake.

Very professional and informative of all our options and possible outcomes related to my son's custody case. They were able to get him full custody. Very happy we chose them to represent him.

I couldn't be more happy with Brian, Veronica, and Charles. They knocked my case out of the park. I got everything that I wanted and more. I had to fire my previous lawyer and Brian was highly recommended by the Attorney Generals Office. Brian is worth every penny. When you think he isn't working, He most certainly is. Brian is always playing chess while most other attorneys are playing checkers. He is not going to be the loudest in the courtroom but he will most certainly be the most savvy. He will be honest and upfront from the beginning. I recommend him for your case. You won't be disappointed. Just be patient and let Brian work his magic.

I would definitely not hire Brian and/ or stay away from this firm. Maybe they viewed me as a weak client and decided to play 'cat and mouse' game with me or thought 'its okay' to not prioritize my concerns because I have epilepsy so they thought I am 'slow'. These are few reasons to avoid them. I negotiated the child support payments and I attended the court ordered mediation with proper agreements. None of my interests were included in the final decree and he had multiple months to create a draft for the decree. Instead, I was handed a decree few hours before the court day by the other lawyer filled with her terms. I cannot drive because I have epilepsy. The transportation clause was never fixed and I told him that she has to drive the kids to my location. He never corrected it so now I am forced to drive or live really close to my ex-wife. So now I live 40 feet away from her. Even the joint car loan did not have a timeline or deadline in the final decree. So she can take as long as she wants or never fix the car loan. He didn't even fix the child support date and it was backdated to January 2021. I had to convince my ex-wife to get it corrected after our divorce was finalized. Then later on, it was corrected to July 2022. Errors after errors, this firm did nothing for me. I left many angry voicemails and it should go to a malpractice lawsuit. I also found out my ex-wife took out loan on her 401K and this lawyer did nothing even after telling me he would file 60B during my last and final court day. He pretty much lied to get my signature. WOW!

Brian Furniss was excellent in my custody case. He fought for me from day 1 and did not stop. He is very knowledgeable in his field and knows what he is doing. Thanks to Brian and his hard work he was able to negotiate a shared parenting plan that included a relocation from Toledo back to Reynoldsburg. Not only that but I am now listed as a custodial and residential parent, which is huge since unmarried fathers have ZERO rights. Thank you very much Brian for all your hard work. I could not be happier with the outcome of this case.
