Pete helped me negotiate a mutually beneficial agreement, and he also went above and beyond to negotiate (and win) certain benefits that I'd not even considered asking for. I didn't know Pete before we worked together on this agreement, but the quality of his service and the outcome he achieved has turned me into a client for life.

I have worked with this firm since it’s inception and with Christopher Lardiere for nearly 30 years. Over that time, the scope of work has covered many subject matters including, estate planning, human resource issues, contracts, real estate, construction, debt collection and many more. Christopher has always been very responsive, fair and has always advised with my best interests first. I find Christopher to be deeply knowledgeable and has always been extremely committed to continuous learning and development of his substantial knowledge base. He has often proactively kept me informed and up to date on various issues affecting my businesses and operations. I would recommend Christopher to friends and family and in fact I have done so in the past many times!

Jamie Bailey is an absolute rock star! I've been dealing with a tricky situation at work concerning ongoing medical leave and she was able to negotiate a severance deal, paying out more than originally offered, and put an end to a stressful situation. I want to preface this review by saying I never write reviews, ever, but I finally made myself write this one because I want others to know the kind of experience I had. I had a horrible experience with this law firm, specifically Sunni DiNicola and Darren McNair. When I spoke with Darren initially about taking my case he sounded great, but once I paid the retainer it went down hill very quickly. I am single mother of 1 and was working on transferring a custody case from DC to Columbus in Jan/Feb of 2021, a contested custody case with my abusive ex (an extremely urgent matter) Sunni and Darren needed to work with my DC lawyer to complete this process and responded very slowly to emails, so slowly that my DC lawyer had to email multiple times and even call before they had any answers (costing me more money). Sunni almost never gave me an update on what was happening with my case here, unless I pressed her with multiple emails, and because of her slow response I had to go to another court hearing in DC and was charged thousands of dollars. In the time I worked with this law firm, about 2 months, they charged me $1,000 for filing some paperwork, they never even represented me in court, or scheduled a zoom call with me, I spoke with Sunni once on the phone the whole time, and again, cost me thousands that I would not have had to spend in DC because they didn’t tell me I had a hearing set in Columbus before I had my status hearing in DC, which would have alerted the DC judge that Ohio was, in fact, considering taking my case. I could have avoided an additional hearing, a lot of stress, and a lot of money. I had to look for a new lawyer urgently to take my case, in the middle of such a stressful time. I wanted to write this review many times, but I was too exhausted to even think about it since I was in the midst of my case. I believe Family law attorneys should be more mindful and considerate about the sensitive situations many of their clients are in. I don’t have extra money to give lawyers that make mistakes, it was painful to hand over $1,000 for paperwork and then not even get an update about my Columbus court hearing, my new lawyer had to tell me about it. I hope this doesn’t happen to other clients and I wish I didn’t have to write an awful review, but I’ve never dealt with attorney’s as unprofessional as this. They really messed my whole case up and it’s taken much longer to fix, and a lot of extra money. I hope moving forward they understand the sensitive nature of many of these cases, how emotionally draining, and financially draining they can be on the single parents. Good communication is a must in these time sensitive situations. Please do better, the lives of children depend on it.

It was a pleasure working with Pete. He made a very difficult situation easier to navigate through. Pete listened to what I had to say and was very patient with all of my questions throughout the entire process. Every goal that I set at the beginning was met and/or exceeded. I would most definitely recommended Pete to anyone and I would give Pete the highest rating possible.

I was out of state for majority of my claim process and was worried my process would be delayed or confusing; but it was the complete opposite. Now that everything is finished.
