Probably one of the worst, laziest, inexperienced, money stealing lawyers in the state. Highly unethical, WILL TELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO HEAR DURING THE INITIAL CONSULTATION. When you actually give a retainer, she doesn’t read emails, she will do the minimum but bill you the maximum. I’m not sure how a person like this is able to practice law!

No one gets married counting the days and years ahead toward a divorce. It should only be the LAST course of action! When my marriage anchor floated away and faced with no other option to proceed, I was scared, inexperienced, in a tough financial position and had no advice as to how or where to proceed. I did what anyone today would do and hit up the internet. After speaking with many firms and not trusting anyone, feeling like just a number, I stumbled across LeeDaun online. I am so grateful that I did! We talked for longer than I anticipated, covered a lot ground with my many questions and uncertainties all the while feeling like she really cared and listened to my concerns, easing my burdens. She is knowledgeable (this work is her specialty) empathetic and compassionate, like confiding in a friend and it was a free initial consultation. I decided to retain her and so glad that I did! LeeDaun comes across as this well mannered soft spoken sweet little thang (and she is), then in court proceedings she was like Emerill Lagasse; BAM, BAM, BAM! - I was so proud of her and her competence and experience representing me to the best of my interests at her best ability! Laurie was a pleasure to work with. We came in with a plan, she heard us, let us know we what we were legally entitled to, but didnt push when we waived things. This process was so quick and painless for us. Her fee was more than fair, and she was up front about us not using all of our retainer ( which is rare) and issued a refund for time not used. We appreciate her time, knowledge and professionalism. If mediation is an option for you, I highly recommend Laurie Malone to be your mediator.

Let’s be blunt, divorce sucks! Don’t do it unless it is ABSOLUTELY imperative. There are very good marriage counselors in the area. The hardest part is waking up not knowing where you are, not seeing your kids everyday, financially strapping yourself, loss of people you thought were your friends, taking a reputation hit that isn’t true; the stress, the uncertainty meanwhile wondering if your attorney is competent on your behalf. It is expensive, takes longer than you think and frustrating.Let that reality sink in first! That said, if you must go through this hell; LeeDaun is a true professional I would recommend to anyone! Forget what people tell you about divorce, they’re usually wrong and every case is different. LeeDaun ( and her staff) is kind and compassionate and very knowledgeable about the law. She will represent you to the best of her ability and is trustworthy. This is her specialty and times I wanted to doubt her, it was me who was always wrong! Thank you greatly LCW team!
