I would highly recommend JP/his colleagues for immigration services! I chose to work with them based on word of mouth and all the great reviews online. I'm based in a different state so initially I was debating whether to work with a local firm or with them - I feel very lucky that I made the right decision to work with JP. Majority of our communications were through emails (except for some documentations which required to be delivered through physical packages and a phone prep session ahead of the interview) and it was the same as if I was working with them face to face. JP/his colleagues were always prompt to my email queries/updates - they were very helpful in providing their advice and kept me posted on how things had progressed. There were couple of times where I needed to make a determination quickly between my traveling plan and the interview schedule and I'm glad that I got to consult with JP as he provided detailed elaboration about the pros and cons so I was able to make an informed decision within a short period of time and kept a good balance between my priorities. Also, many thanks to the diligent preparation by his team for my application, in the end the approval notice came in faster than I previously expected. Update in 2023: This is my second time using JP/team's service and my experience has been consistently seamless, easy and efficient. I applied for naturalization this round - similar to last time, majority of our communication was done via emails. JP was always prompt in response (even on weekend!) and ensured all my questions got answered. Whenever he received updates about my case, he would communicate and explain in details about what to expect for the next steps. I had to make several international trips during my application and always felt at ease each time I travelled, knowing that I was in good hands. Overall I had a great experience working with Sarmiento on my green card. The firm is very experienced, and offers sufficient handholding and support through the immigration processes. I especially liked working with Arty who was able to answer questions, and provide advise as needed.

I highly recommend Sarmiento Immigration Law Firm. We just got the approval on our K1 visa. The process for a K1 visa takes months, but JP and Arty were always there for us, helping us with every step. They are very professional and always patient.
