I wish I would have read these reviews before having hired Errol Can. All of this poor feedback is true- He doesn't show up for appointments, and his secretary doesn't bother to inform you either, then it takes a lot of effort to reschedule only for him to not show up again, and then repeatedly - he was a no show literally 4 times and then he somehow - after receiving full pay - found no more time to meet before the court date- although we are talking a good 8 weeks of time beforehand (1 initial meeting total where nothing relevant to my defense was discussed) then granted me literally a mere 20 min. before walking into court on my death sentence. He said I had a good case. He said it would all be just fine, but it was all a lie. He missed the part about defending me. I am livid. My sentencing was insanely extremely harsh and uncalled for. Even the jail personnel and the police couldn't believe my harsh sentencing, stating I shouldn't be there, and asked why I didn't get a good lawyer! Talk about money wasted. Several thousand dollars wasted.

Never will I suggest you to get a lawyer, without mentioning his name. I would tell you that my experience with Errol is not just a one time thing, he has helped me, my family, other aquatints. I could have never been blessed with such good care of legalized situations. I'm telling you now and will never change my opinion about Errol, for he is who he says he is and does exactly what he says he's going to do. Trust him, mention my name Mr. Corona and watch him treat you like he has for me since 2001.

I called Mr. Can as I was facing an Misdemeanor for theft. We talked and he said, when I made my decision I could contact him personally. I did and blocked my calls till I called his office. My grandpa died and I made contact with him to change my appointment. Never heard back. Very Expensive!

Had to withdraw for the defendant because he is unethical. He met with me several months prior to discuss my case and then tried to represent the defendant. Had to fight him and his firm for 4 months on The issue. Tried to make me out to be a liar when him and his firm were lying. After faxing and certified mailing documents over and over again, they finally withdrew because of an ethical violation. The oddest part is his firm is members of the portage county bar ethics committee and still are unethical themselves. Now continues to try to still be involved in the case he was forced to withdraw from. Good grief. How more corrupt can portage county be?

Had my ovi dropped down to a wreckless operation, seat belt, and left of center thrown out. He told me from the start that i didn't have that good of a chance to beat it. I blew over the limit but he somehow got it thrown away because there was a small misprint in the paperwork for the registration of the b.a.c. machine. From what im told, you can never catch the state highway patrol slipping but he found it. The judge made a point to say that i was lucky i had such a good lawyer. The only real consequence I was given is that I would have to attend a dui driving school. It didn't really set in what he had done for me until everyone at the class started trading war stories of how they got pulled over and their court experiences. I WAS lucky I had hired Errol.
Dude, if you are reading this.... thank you.
P.S. That other review is kind of right though. You are a pain in the ass to get a hold of. Hahahahaha

This was my lawyer for ovi case a year ago, and he was continually unavailable and did not inform me what happened during court proceedings that I was not required to attend nor was able to go. I only saw the police report AFTER I was conducted, and the officer who arrested me blatantly LIED on the report, and likely to the judge say that I "hit the curb" when I pulled over which I absolutely did NOT do, and I had witnesses to verify that. He also said I made statements that I absolutely did not make during the incident. My initial reason for getting pulled over was an alleged blinker failure. Errol should have discussed WITH ME what was documented in the police report so he could actually defend me. I could have saved $2000 and ended up with the same result.
