I would highly recommend Ed Herman as the best in the area to help in a difficult foreclosure situation. Ed helped me extensively with a situation involving a home that belonged to my elderly parents who were being foreclosed upon. He was able to hold off the proceedings for 2 years in order to find a resolution. He also helped me stave off an unexpected foreclosure and a scheduled sheriff sale of my own home. He is a genuine man with integrity and a passion for what he does and helping people in very difficult and stressful situations. I owned a portfolio of properties with a blanket / balloon mortgage. The term matured. The bank decided to foreclose instead of extending the loan terms. Ed made life so difficult for the bank in court that it agreed to accept a short payoff on the loan balances. Thanks to Ed, I saved almost half of what my loan balances were which resulted in a net savings of several hundred thousand dollars. Today I own the properties free and clear.
